Steps and checks carried to assign priority of data tsl on Non-BCCH TRX

Change preference state of BCCH TRX to P. Change BFG value to 2. (TRP to be set to 1) NBCCH TRX should be EDGE compatible TRX TSDB. GTRX to set to Y for this TRX DAP id to be assigned to this TRX.
(Dap should not be N. DAP id is assigned as BCF id to maintain uniformity) Number of dedicated tsls should not be equipped as TCHD/TCHH. (As dedicated tsls can never used for CS traffic, equipping these Tsls as TCHD/TCHF would result in unnecessary occupancy of BCSU capacity)

 Check for EDAP pool assignment at both BTS & BSC ends.

First tsl, last tsl and EDAP pool size should be same at both BTS and BSC ends.

Trx ids assigned with DAP should be same at both BTs and BSC ends

Preference of configuration for better performance: TRP to be set to 1 BFG to be set to 2 Atleast first 2 TRXs in each sector to be equipped with EDGE compatible trx

First 2 TRX should be set with GTRX=Y

First 2 TRX to be assigned to DAP at both BTS and BSC ends First tsl, last tsl and size of EDAP pool should be similar at both BTS and BSC ends.
