This document contains calculations to check the safety of a connecting rod design under different pressure loads:
(i) For 50 bar pressure, the maximum stress was calculated to be 1 MPa, which is less than the allowable stress of 42 MPa, so the design is safe.
(ii) For 200 bar pressure, the maximum stress was calculated to be 2.88 MPa, which is still less than 42 MPa, so again the design is safe.
(iii) For 1500 bar pressure, the maximum stress was calculated to be 22 MPa, which is less than the allowable 42 MPa, so the design remains safe even under this high pressure load.
