PLAN Task 1 Research question In your group choose a substance to investigate and then design a research question to investigate. Substances could include inca cola, cola inglesa, skittles, sea water, flowers, coloured vegetables. Task 2 Hypotheses In your group write 2 hypotheses for your investigation Task 3 Prediction In your group write a prediction for one of your hypotheses Task 4 Equipment list In your group write a list of all the equipment you will need to do your experiment. Task 5 Method In your group write a step-by step method explaining how to do your experiment. You may use diagrams to help if you wish

Task 6 - Collecting Data In your group carry out your experiment and collect and record your observations and measurements. PRESENTING Task 7 trend/pattern In your group identify at least one trend or pattern in your data. Task 8 Conclusion In your group deduce a conclusion for your experiment. Task 9 Relationship to prediction/hypotheses In your group describe how your pattern, trend or conclusion relates to your prediction and hypotheses. EVALUATING Task 10 errors In your group explain at least 2 errors or anomalous results in your experiment Task 11 Improvements In your group suggest at least 3 improvements that could be made to your experiment. Task 12 Research question In your group explain whether the research question has been answered satisfactorily. Task 13 New research questions In your group suggest at least three other research questions that could be investigated.
