The Military Situation
- Fresh clashes took place between the Free Syrian Army (FSA) and Al-Assad's forces in Damascus's Harasta district, Deir Al-Zour and Khirbet Al-Gouz in the Idlib neighborhood of Jisr ash-Shugur. (Al-Jazeera) - The government forces announced that they managed to foil infiltration of "an armed group" from Turkey to Idlib's countryside, northwest of Syria. (Russia Today) - The FSA military council Secretary Captain Ammar AlWawi criticized failure on the part of "Friends of Syria" conference to adopt any measure aiming at letting the FSA be armed, stressing that it is only weapons that defeat weapons.
