Background of the Study The Polluters Dilemma was based on a story about a woman who was currently faced with a decision whether or not to spend money on new technology that will reduce the level of particular toxin in the wastewater that flows out the back of the factory and into a lake.

This case made us also look on ourselves whether or not we are contributing to the worlds problem which is pollution. Although this case study is not experience physically by us, the case itself was based on a true story. The original story was about a man who owns his own company. The man currently faced a decision whether or not to make changes on his laboratories.
