TITLE: Balance of Nature OBJECTIVES:


1. Explain how human activities contribute to the destruction of the balance of nature 2. Provide solutions to the different ecological problems discussed MATERIALS: manila paper, pictures A. PRELIMINARIES: Prayer, Classroom management B. MOTIVATION: Give different pictures of environmental destruction, human activities and effects of destruction to nature. Give the students ample time to analyze the given picture and ask their ideas about the topic based on the picture.

C. LESSON PROPER:
1. Introduce the lesson by asking the students about their observation to the changes in the environment recently. 2. Let the students complete the table: Human Activities that Impact to the Environment Effects

Release of large amounts of carbondioxide into the air in industrial and urban areas Dumping toxic garbage into river and lakes Use of synthetic products Indiscriminate and Illegal logging Kaingin Collecting and Killing of species Early pregnancy of teenagers and Uncontrollable reproduction

Lung cancer Global warming Death of aquatic animals Increase of noniodegradable materials Soil erosion and floods in low areas Forest fire and increases amount of carbon dioxide Disrupt the food cycles in nature Overpopulation Food and Space scarcity
