SIGNIFICANT ADMINISTRATIVE PROJECTS

As the Administrative Assistant for Grace Baptist Church I was given the task of designing and developing Graces website. After choosing a user friendly web CMS (Weebly) that even our non-techie pastors could use, I proceeded to configure the layout, design the graphics, write the copy, perform SEO, list our site in various directories, and maintain and update the content. As a Board Member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) in the capacity of Auditions Co-Chair for our WI Chapter of NATS, I helped to streamline the organizational and procedural processes of our annual statewide Audition event. This two-day event typically involves more than 500 people (the exact numbers from the 2008 Auditions: 396 singers, 76 accompanists, 72 judges, and 8 tally-room workers for a total of 552), and multiple locations (2008: 24 rooms). My specific job during the last three years of my tenure was to supervise the tally room. By helping to create an online database for remote submissions and then implementing the use of the database in real-time, the process was streamlined so efficiently that we gained time to include a completely new round of auditions. In other words, before the streamlining every division had only two rounds prelims and finals. Since the streamlining, however, the college divisions now have three rounds prelims, semi-finals, and finals.

As a Quality Action Project leader for the accrediting body that is part of the Higher Learning Commission and a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, I led Maranathas Fine Arts department in the creation of its first departmental handbook and, more importantly, in the creation of a Continuous Review Process for Fine Arts' Philosophy, Policies & Procedures. As the Director of Guest Experience at Chick-fil-A, I created and implemented a new system for serving guests in the drive-thru that dramatically increased our daily Count Average (+19 transactions) and the Net Sales Average (+$149) during each lunch hour. As a result, during the eight months following the implementation of this new system, we were able to serve 779 more cars than we would have been able to serve under the old system, which translated into $6,109 more dollars in sales than we would have had under the previous system.
