    Revised Eligibility Criteria for Postgraduate Examination


    The Council at its 647th meeting approved the revision of Clause 2.1 of Postgraduate Examination Rules effective from 01 Feb 08 as follows :

    2.1

    Existing Persons securing minimum 55% marks in B E / B Tech / Sections A & B of the Institution Examinations with minimum three years academic / Industrial experience shall only be admitted to related Postgraduate Degree Programme; others only to the Postgraduate Diploma Programme.

    2.1

    Revised Persons securing minimum 60% marks in B E / B Tech / Sections A & B of the Institution Examinations with minimum three years academic / Industrial experience shall only be admitted to related Postgraduate Degree Programme; others only to the Postgraduate Diploma Programme.

    Candidates already registered and having Registration Number allotted by IEI for ME Programme with 55% marks shall be permitted to complete the course within the prescribed stipulated period.
