7 tn narcur yath sarve saha-rmo 'cyuto 'rcayat svgatsana-pdyrghyamlya-dh pnulepanai SYNONYMS tn them; narcu they worshiped; yath properly; sarve all of them; saha-rma including Lord Balarma; acyuta and Lord a; arcayat worshiped them; sv-gata with greetings; sana sitting places; pdya water to wash the feet; arghya water to drink; mlya flower garlands; dh pa incense; anulepanai and sandalwood paste. TRANSLATION Lord a, Lord Balarma and the other kings and leaders properly worshiped the sages by offering them words of greeting, sitting places, water for washing their feet, drinking water, flower garlands, incense and sandalwood paste. TRANSLATION All the men there shone like demigods. They were adorned with jeweled earrings, flower garlands, turbans, waistcoats, silk dhot s and valuable pearl necklaces. The lovely faces of the women were beautified by their matched earrings and locks of hair, and they all wore golden belts.
