This was done keeping in mind the expansive growth plans the company had in terms of employee strength and geographical spread, to drive the companys business targets for the next few years. The expectation from the HCMS was a value proposition to support HDFCSL's plan in terms of real time and correct data availability across locations, process consistency with minimal turn-around time, transparent communication, clear accountability of process owners and driving process efficiency for a fast increasing workforce. The organization planned for exponential growth in employees and offices and concluded that an HCMS would enable HR to service and manage employees in the most efficient manner. At the time of making a buying decision of a HCMS, the company was 1200 strong, had presence across 134 offices and had plans of tripling every year. Their processes on Lotus, Excel and paper had been serving them well for the start up employee strength in the past 4 years but an HCMS was imperative for the future business plans to fructify. Confirmation, Leave, Attendance, Nominations for benefit schemes, Role player and cluster framework, Automated OUs and Calendar mapping were some of the other main modules that brought about better and easy management of HDFCSLs huge workforce. Today Adrenalin is used by 12000 employees spread across 374 locations.
