Spend your evening singing praise songs to God, just like Paul and Silas did! Choose a favorite CD if that is helpful! Why were Paul and Silas placed in jail?

Paul and Silas prayed and praised even in a difficult time. Talk about some difficult times you have had as a family. How did you handle them? Next time, could you remember to pray and praise more often and remember God is always with you?

Paul and Silas stayed in jail after the earthquake. Discuss if you think that was hard or easy for them to do. What part of the story do you think Paul told the jailer? How do you think Paul and Silas felt as they left the jail to keep preaching about Jesus?
