Acaraj Acaraj is a culinary specialty of africanBrazilian cuisine made mass black-eyed peas, onion and salt, fried in olive

oil-forpalm. The acaraj can be served with chili, dried shrimp, vatapd, amaranth or salad, almost all components and typical dishes of the extreme south of Bahia. The acaraj is one of the main products sold on the board of Bahia (the name given to the container used by the Bahian acaraj to expose the food).
