by: Senator Samantha Cross College of Health and Human Services An act to allocate up to $3500 from ASNAU Budget Line 156 for the NAU Archery Club to attend a competition in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Whereas: Seven archers will be attending the competition. Whereas: This money would cover plane tickets for all seven of them estimated at $300-600 each (havent been booked yet). It would also cover cost of at least 3 hotel rooms for 5 nights, 2-3 rental cars and gas. Furthermore, they will have to drive the 80+ miles from the airport to Harrisonburg. Whereas: The members are looking to at least pay the registration fee out of pocket -$110.00 and will also cover any miscellaneous costs and food. Whereas: This event will bring school spirit as the members will be representing NAU nationally and will be able to bring light to NAU athletics. Be it enacted by the Associated Students of Northern Arizona University that: The amount of up to $3500 allocated from the ASNAU budget line 156 to NAU Archery Club for them to attend a competition in Harrisonburg, VA.
