Hassan A. Latif is a Certified Addictions Counselor in Colorado, providing services primarily to those who are formerly incarcerated as well as people living with HIV. A nationally certified Cognitive Behavior Change Facilitator (NCTI), Hassan is the Executive Director of Second Chance Center, a non-profit organization committed to reducing recidivism. After spending almost 18 consecutive years in Colorado penitentiaries, Hassan set out to help others avoid prison. He is a counselor at Creative Treatment Options, It Takes a Village, and frequently guest facilitates in Colorado correctional facilities. Hassan sits on the Board of Directors of the Colorado Criminal Justice Reform Coalition.
