On or about 9:00 pm of June 9, 2012 a Fire Incident was reported at Purok Karingalan, Sta. Clara, Lamitan City, Basilan. Accordingly, eight-unit apartment of SCARBIDCI was burned to the ground allegedly caused by faulty wiring. Fire out status was declared on or about 10:45 pm. Eight families were evacuated to the Sta. Clara Plaza 1. Yensons Family 2. Oryendo Family 3. Pajente Family 4. Puguy Family 5. Quimco Family 6. Francisco Family 7. Lapuerta Family 8. Pejed Family No casualties reported. Action Taken 1. Local authorities were informed and coordinated regarding the incident. 2. OCD BASULTA Field Office coordinated Provincial Information Officer regarding the Incident. 3. Fire trucks from Malungay, Sta. Clara Fire Volunteers and UECI responded to suppress the fire. 4. City Health Office also responded in the area for the possible injured persons and casualties. 5.
