DEFINITION
An adjective is a word that goes with a noun to tell us something more about that noun. It also modifies a noun or a pronoun by describing, identifying, or quantifying words.

ADJECTIVE OF QUANTITY
Used to indicate an exact or an unspecified quantity or amount. It generally answers the question How many? for countable nouns or How much? for uncountable nouns. E.g: There are six girls in the group. (exact) He has few friends. (unspecifield) There is some soup left. (unspecifield)
POSSESSIVE ADJECTIVES
Shows that something belongs to a person or a thing. Always used before nouns. They answer the question Whose? E.g: This is my cat. I like your dress.
INTERROGATIVE ADJECTIVES
Used to ask a question. It is used before a noun. E.g: What car does your father drive? Which cat ate the fish? Whose dress is this?
DEMONSTRATIVE ADJECTIVE
A word that is used to point out a person or a things. It is used before a noun.
E.g: This dog is small. That dog is big. These plates are dirty.

COMPARATION OF ADJECTIVE
Positive Degree
The simplest form. Used simply to describe the noun. Example: Mr Hugo is a strong man
Comparative Degree
Used to compare two nouns. Example: Mr Sumo is stronger than Mr Hugo.
Superlative Degree
Used to compare more than two nouns. Example: Mr Bingo is the strongest of the three men.

Some adjective are formed from nouns.
