in the system development of Electric/Hybrid-Electric Vehicle (xEV) battery packs and integrate them into customer's applications. The position will involve a thorough understanding of customer's requirements including comprehension of electrical, software and mechanical. Strong knowledge in systems modeling mandatory. - Systems integration of xEV battery packs into passenger-car, medium and heavy-duty applications Working with a cross-functional engineering team to develop a full system solution - Interface with customers Job Responsibilities: - Lead teams and workgroups - Test and trouble-shoot battery systems on-site and at customers sites - Develop system-level schematics, interfaces and wiring of multi-pack systems - Develop and oversee test verification and design validation procedures - Ad hoc projects as assigned -10+ yrs of professional experience in engineering - Strong knowledge in systems modeling in Matlab & Simulink - Strong knowledge in systems thinking processes - Candidate should have a strong knowledge of electrical systems & components. - Candidate should have a strong knowledge of vehicle communication networks Preferred Experience - B.S. in electrical engineering or software development including: CAN, UN, Flexray, etc. - BSEE - Good verbal and written communication and organizational skills - Strong leadership aptitude - Experience with product launches is a plus
