Preparation Step 1: Cut out all pattern pieces. Step 2: Cut out fabric pieces as noted on the pattern and transfer markings for the pocket locations. Make and Attach Pockets Step 3: Attach bias tape to pockets. Step 4: Line up the top of the finished pockets with dots on the front of the apron body, pin in place, and sew all sides except the top. Make Apron Body Step 5: Attach bias tape apron body. Make and Attach Apron Neck Tie Step 6: Attach bias tape to apron neck tie (if using a fat quarter, sew together neck tie pieces since there will not be enough fabric to cut it out on the fold) Step 7: Pin in place (behind bias tape on wrong side of apron) and try on to make sure the fit is correct. Shorten neck tie as necessary for proper fit. Stitch on top of existing stitches on bias tape, back stitching at both ends. Make and Attach Apron Ties Step 8: Right sides together, sew seam around one short side and both long sides. Turn, press and topstitch 1/8 from the edge. Repeat for second tie. Step 9: Pin apron ties to line up with the bias tape on the wrong side of the apron. Stitch on top of existing stitches on bias tape, back stitching at both ends. Youre done! Admire and enjoy your new apron!
