Dear School Division; I am a recent graduate from the University of Lethbridge with a Bachelor of Arts (with Distinctions) and a Bachelor of Education (with Distinctions) with a Social Studies focus. I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of grade levels, from one through nine, which has enhanced my ability to adapt to student, faculty and community diversity, as well as new situations and challenges that arise. Throughout my education, I have developed skills in time and classroom management, student engagement, classroom organization, and other effective teaching strategies and tools that are applicable to any grade level. I have demonstrated throughout my professional semesters technological innovation, professional growth and positive rapport with my students and colleagues. I am known for my patience, encouragement, creativity, enthusiasm, and respect. I am a facilitator of learning; I strive to give students the knowledge and encouragement they need to become successful and responsible citizens of our world. I am confident in my teaching ability, yet realize that my learning in this profession will be continuous. I am a life-long learner and believe its important to facilitate 21st century learning in the classroom as well as incorporate it into my own professional growth. I will grow alongside advancing technologies, collaborate with fellow colleagues, and be a leader as well as a facilitator in all aspects of my profession. My passion for learning led me to collaborate with the University of Lethbridges Faculty of Education in an inquiry project for Alberta Education. My personal inquiry project examined how the inclusion of technology in the classroom can enhance 21st century learning and make learning accessible to all students. This project has been selected by Alberta Education to be available as a learning tool for education professionals across Alberta. Through this project I learned firsthand the benefits of encouraging 21st century learning and will continue to demonstrate these aspects throughout my teaching career. My passion for facilitating student learning led me to become an elementary teacher, and I hope to share that enthusiasm with the students and staff in your school division. Please accept this letter as an application for a position within your division. I believe my passion, experience and ability will be a great contribution to your division. If you would like to hear more about me and what I can bring to your school division please contact me at your earliest convenience. Thank you for taking the time to review my credentials, and I look forward to hearing from you. Sincerely,

Robin Davies
