    Photography process
    z Photograph in raw mode and use a wide angle lens… If possible convert file
    in 16 bit mode
    z Photograph at a normal standing view… Look for areas that have depth and
    few light traps…
    z Compose scene so background area is about 60% and foreground area is
    40%
    z Lighting… Photograph when the light is defused and a subject can be
    photographed key left and right... If camera has a contrast control set it to
    it’s lowest contrast
    z All objects that are vertical, other than grass must be in the background
    area otherwise it will appear flat...
    z If you don’t have a wide angle lens... With the camera in a horizontal
    position and on a tripod Take an image of the background area then pan the
    camera to the floor area and take a second picture... Make sure both
    images overlap so they can be merged together...

    Open image in PhotoShop… Open Rulers • View - Rulers
    z Crop image to 8”X12 “ @ 260 - 300 DPI
    z Duplicate layer and make and image adjustment levels layer to refine color &
    density balance
    z Duplicate background name retouch and correct light traps and darken
    foreground about 25%
    z Duplicate layer and run filter-artistic-dry brush fade to 15-28%
    z Duplicate layer & run filter-Color Effects Pro-Sunshine and fade to 15%
    z Create a new Canvas size 8”x17” @ 260-300 DPI…
    z Move the image so the base of the background area is at the 10” line… Make a
    selection of the background and do and edit-transform-distort… Pull the center
    up till the background is a full 10’height
    Note doors should be 7” high…
    Do the same with the floor area or make a selection of the floor and do a copy &
    paste to fill in the balance of the floor
    z Save the file and then flatten and save the flattened image and save as a
    different name tiff file.
    z Send both files to Denny for printing
