Welcome to the 2012 Local Policing Summary from West Yorkshire Police Authority

We issue the Local Policing Summary to give you a short overview of the performance of West Yorkshire Police over the last year and the priorities that we have set for the coming one. Once again we have been able to show you the performance of your local neighbourhood policing team in 2011/12 against the crime types that you are most worried about. We have also included some more information about the election of the Police and Crime Commissioner (FCC) on 15 November 2012. West Yorkshire Police Authority will cease to exist from 22 November, when the FCC formally takes office. If you have any comments or questions about anything in this summary please contact the Police Authority on 01924 294000, e-mail ed@wypa.pnn.police.uk or write to us at Ploughland House, 62 George Street, Wakefield, WF1 1DL.
