Project2: Global Planning Application (Financial Domain)

Commercial Finance Fleet Services buy vehicles and lease them or sell them directly. It also acts as dealer to sell vehicles. The project is to develop a closing and consolidation system, leveraging Hyperion Planning, to replace the existing Enterprise system and supplemental data gathering and analysis processes. Closing Cube (Essbase) is intended to support aggregating actual and planning data. The Consolidation Cube (Planning) will support commentary entry, planning input, variance analysis, and CF (Corporate Finance) submissions. As a Business Analyst responsible for interacting with the FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) and OTC users to gather the requirements, design, develop and deploy interfaces used for Essbase and Planning databases and to generate reports using Hyperion Reports and Excel Add-In.

Responsibilities:
Designed and developed load rules using the Prep Editor. Developed web forms using Hyperion Planning web client for the users to input Forecast, Budget,Actual, Accounting changes and other variance explanations data. Developed Business rules and attached to the input forms to calculate data on save Option.

Created users and user groups in the Planning applications and assigned security to web forms. Imported security profiles from Hyperion planning to Hyperion Essbase. Used HAL to load data values, accounts, entities, and custom dimensions from flat file into Planning Cube. Project3: Global Management Reporting

It has three core businesses offering a range of services for private clients, small businesses, institutions and corporations, and financial intermediaries. As a developer/analyst responsible for design, development and maintenance of Global Management Reporting Application. This system is mainly used to support the process of budgeting, planning and forecasting to align strategic objectives to organizational goals. As a developer responsible to develop and deploy interfaces used for Essbase and Planning applications and to generate reports using Hyperion Reports and Essbase APIs (Excel Add-In). Also involved in the Stress Testing of the application to achieve 200 Throughputs per minute (TPM) for Hyperion Reports, Excel Add-In and Spreadsheet Services. Designed, developed and involved in complete life cycle of the application.

Responsibilities:
Develop load rules, calc scripts, reports, security and overall maintenance of cube. Involved in Performance tuning and Performance monitoring. Implemented Transparent Partition (main cube which is BSO) sitting on the two small cubes (which are ASO cubes). Designed and developed web forms for data inputs as per the business requirements using Hyperion Planning. Developed numerous simple to complex Business Rules and attached them to the web forms. Project5: Financial Planning System

Worked as a consultant providing technical support and enhancements for internal planning clients using Hyperion Essbase/Planning. As a developer/administrator responsible for design, development and

maintenance of Financial Planning System. This system is mainly used to support the process of budgeting, planning and forecasting to align strategic objectives to organizational goals. As a developer responsible to develop and deploy interfaces used for Planning and to generate reports using Analyzer and Essbase APIs, also involved in development of custom interfaces, these are tailored applications which have been developed to meet the specific needs of organization and easily adapt to business models. Designed, developed and involved in complete life cycle of Planning process.
