-Writing 2-4 articles for weekly newspaper while being the primary photographer, videographer and layout designer. I also perform many other tasks and serve as the main copy editor.

-Traveled around West Virginia as a summer intern taking photos, writing stories, filming and editing videos for mission teams working with the non-profit organization World Vision.

Graphics Reporter; Columbia Missourian 2009-2010


-Weekly shifts at the newspaper where I researched and executed graphics requests on the health and science beat. I completed two full-page graphics and interactive Flash graphics.

- Currently sit on the marketing committee for the Heart of Illinois United Way. Meet on a monthly basis to discuss marketing strategies for how the local United Way can better serve the needy in the Peoria area.

- Performed a plethora of duties such as organizing special events, setting up fundraisers, running meetings, writing press releases and telling the story of the plight of child soldiers in Africas longest running war.
