Serencio, RN Course #: Psycho 101 Course Title: General Psychology Course Description: This course aims to provide general overview of Psychology, biological foundations of behavior, sensory processes, learning, perception, memory, emotion, motivation, personality, and the social bases of behavior. It includes theories and concepts in understanding human behavior and mental process. Course Objectives: Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1. Recognize Psychology as a scientific study of behavior. 2. Discuss the mechanisms, functions and structure of Nervous System. 3. Differentiate sensation and perception. 4. Compare and contrast theories of development and how it influences human behavior. 5. Discuss memory processes, intelligence, and learning mechanisms. 6.
