Dear President Barzilay, Central Committee, and Jerusalem and Tel Aviv Regional Ethics Committees: Attached is a copy of my Ethics Complaints against Attorneys Yoram HaCohen and Amit Ashkenazi, [1] which were faxed in 3 copies on July 2, 2012, to the respective Regional Ethics Committees, pursuant to the online instructions of the Israeli Bar Association for filing such complaints. Both regional offices informed me by phone on the same date, that the complaints would be registered and confirmation be received by mail, including the Complaint Numbers, within a few days. No such confirmation has been received to this date. Therefore, I write to request the following: a) That the attached July 2, 2012 Ethics Complaints against Attorneys Yoram HaCohen and Amit Ashkenazi be duly registered by the respective Regional Ethics Committees and a confirmations be mailed, including the Complaint Numbers, alternatively b) That the respective Regional Ethics Committees, the Central Committee, and/or President Doron Barzilay disclose, who were the individuals, who made the decision not to register the complaints, in what capacities, and the legal foundation for such decisions.
