Shalom Rene,
On that day I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples. All who lift it will surely hurt themselves. (Zechariah 12:3)

Recently, there has been a disturbing trend among Christian denominations to take a stand against the Jewish people and their Biblical homeland. Last week, we reported on the Presbyterian Church (USA), and this week, the Church of England.

An Ecumenical Accompanier (EA) from the Ecumenical Accompaniment Programme in Palestine and Israel (EAPPI) greets a group of enthusiastic Palestinian children.

The Church of England recently alienated the Jewish community when it passed a motion that endorsed the Ecumenical Accompaniment Programme in Palestine and Israel (EAPPI), a program that demonizes Israel through an unbalanced, simplistic approach to educating people about the Holy Land.

The anti-Israel group brings participants into Judea and Samaria to experience life under occupation, according to the EAPPI website.

This one-sided experience is devoid of any interaction with mainstream Jewish Israelis.

Program participants return to their home countries as a voice of knowledge, where they are expected not only to share what they learned at 10 or more speaking events, but also to campaign for an end to the socalled Israeli occupation.

Unsurprisingly, its graduates return with simplistic and radical perspectives, giving talks against Israel which do nothing to promote an understanding of the situation in the Middle East, much less promote a peaceful and viable solution to its problems, said the Board of Deputies of British Jews (Ynet).

Israeli Jewish children play safely in a protected playground in the Israeli settlement of Beit El, which is located in the hills north of Jerusalem east of the Palestinian city of al-Bireh.

Levy Report Confirms Legality of Israeli Settlements

Last week, Israels 89-page Levy report, which investigated the legality of Jewish settlements in the West Bank, confirmed that according to international law, Israelis have a legal right to settle all of Judea and Samaria, at the very least the lands that Israel controls under agreements with the Palestinian Authority (PA).

The official report called for state approval for the existence of many Jewish settlements in Judea and Samaria.

Led by retired Israeli Supreme Court Justice Edmund Levy, the committee rejected the application of the Fourth Geneva Convention to Judea and Samaria, stating that Israel does not meet the criteria of military occupation as defined under international law.

Levys committee, which was formed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, assessed legal briefs from across the political spectrum.

The committee recommended that conflicting claims for land should receive a hearing before the state approves eviction petitions or demolitiona long-term pattern of court action which has led to the displacement of dozens of Jewish families from their homes.

An Israeli Jewish child from Gush Katif weeps in his synagogue as his family is forced to leave their home, and the settlement is evacuated and dismantled in 2005 as part of Israel's Disengagement plan, in a bid to improve Israel's security and build goodwill with Palestinians and the international community.

The Palestinians took over the Jewish homes and it never brought peace.

Israel can give away all of its land to the Arabs and the Palestinians will still not be happy until the Jews abandon their rightful Biblical Homeland - Israel.

Although some think the report will take the wind out of the sails of the US and the EU in their efforts to condemn Israel and her settlements, others are not so optimistic.

In a letter to Netanyahu that was obtained by The Associated Press, prominent American Jewish leaders asked that the report not be endorsed.

"Our great fear is that the Levy Report will not strengthen Israel's position in this conflict, but rather, add fuel

to those who seek to delegitimize Israel's right to exist," they wrote.

Jonathan Tobin of Commentary Magazine said, Opposition to the settlements is so deeply entrenched that there is no argument, no matter how grounded in logic or justice, that would persuade those committed to the myth [that] settlements are the only obstacle to peace, that they are not illegal.

I am giving all this land, as far as you can see, to you and your descendants as a permanent possession. (Genesis 13:15)

Israeli-born actress Odeya Rush will play the Virgin Mary in Mary, Mother of Jesus, the prequel to Mel Gibson's The Passion of the Christ.

Israeli Jewish Actress to Portray the Virgin Mary in Upcoming Film

A new faith-based film called Mary, Mother of Christ is set to bring the life of Yeshuas (Jesus) mother

Miryam (Mary) to the big screen next year.

The film will chronicle Yeshua to the age of four and Miryam at the ages of eight, 15, 19 and 27.

Its a prequel to Mel Gibsons 2004 commercial hit The Passion of the Christ. Both films were written by Benedict Fitzgerald.

Odeya Rush, a 15-year-old Israeli-born Jewish actress, has been cast to play Miryam at eight, 15, and 19 opposite Ben Kingsley and Julia Ormond.

Being Jewish, she was initially reluctant to take the role, however she discovered when she read the script that the film did not have any anti-Semitic undertones.

"On the contrary," she said. "The film emphasizes the suffering inflicted on the Jews by the Romans in those days. It is very exciting for me. (Ynet)"

Rush is no stranger to acting. She has been in numerous commercials, and worked on the hit TV series Curb Your Enthusiasm and Law and Order: SVU. She also co-starred in the 2011 film the Odd Life of Timothy Green.

Hamas Scorns Moral Imperative to Raise Children Right

Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it. Do not be a willing party to their death. (Proverbs 22:5-7, 19:18b)

Israeli children visit the Palestinian village of Tsuwani to participate in bilingual activities together during a day at summer camp in 2007. Sadly enough, since the Hamas took over Gaza five years ago, Hamas has been using summer camps to indoctrinate Gaza children with terrorist ideals.

In some countries, summer is a carefree time when children are sent to camp to be nourished in mind, body and soul.

This year, however, some children from Gaza were sent to a camp designed to inspire hatred, fuel the terrorist agenda and groom them to become future Palestinian terrorists.

Their time at camp entailed experiencing the suffering of the Palestinian prisoners, according to a report published on Ynet.

This is not the type of camp that provides long hikes, football games and swimming.

The children were led through a mock prison, getting a taste for interrogation, solitary confinement and tortureincluding walking on knife blades and rusty nails.

We were taught about the Palestinian prisoners who suffer greatly for the Palestinian people and that the occupation forces deprive them from the basic human rights they deserve, said Abed al-Aziz, a camp participant (Ynet).

Brainwashing and indoctrinating Palestinian children: during a kindergarten graduation ceremony this June, Palestinian children dressed as Israeli prison guards and played the exaggerated role of torturing Islamic Jihad military prisoners.

Camp guide Hytham al-Madhun said the children were taught about firm resilience in the face of Israeli interrogators threats and prisoners' refusal to admit the charges ascribed to them.

The guides spotlighted Hamas heroes like Ibrahim Hamed, who is responsible for murdering dozens of Israeli civilians and was sentenced to 54 life terms in prison.

As an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood, the Hamas agenda to destroy Israel seems to include exploiting the mental and emotional vulnerability of Gazas Muslim children.

Such things ought not to be. Society has a moral imperative to protect children and provide them with developmental support so that they can become whole adults who can approach the world with compassion, empathy and love.

A working paper from the United Nations Office of the Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Children and Armed Conflict states, Protecting children from the ravages of war is a moral imperative, a legal responsibility and a question of international peace and security.

Sadly, Palestinian educational programs such as this camp do not bode well for the future of the Middle East.

American university students say that their campuses are becoming increasingly hostile to Israel.

American University Professors in Ohio scream, "Death to Israel. Kill the Jews!"

For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires . . . they will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. (2 Timothy 4:3-4)

University campuses in the US are being infiltrated by Islamists who hope to spread anti-Israel fervor, according to Christians United For Israel (CUFI).

There has been a concerted effort on the part of fundamental Islam to infiltrate the American college system, said Holocaust survivor Irving Roth in an official CUFI video posted on YouTube.

In the 1930s, through propaganda and education against the Jews, the demonization of the Jews slowly infiltrated both the political system but also the educational system. The result of it, as we know, was the

Holocaust, he warned.

CUFI asked students across the US about hostility to Israel on their campuses.

John Eakin, a student from the University of Akron, said visiting pro-Israel speakers were verbally attacked on his campus by professors screaming Death to Israel. Kill the Jews.

Theres a lot of anti-Israel sentiment at the university, said student Daniela Medellin about Austins University of Texas. A lot of students will spread lies about Israel.

Other students said faculty members and professors speak harshly against Israel.

Josh Ahrens said Portland State University faculty members brought anti-Israel material to campus for the students.

A global bias against Israel in education and media, as well as an acceleration of terrorism seems to have seized the world.
