Target: Low- to middle-class families, students. History of Brand: Great Value is a Walmart brand for food in store. Walmart was founded in 1962 by Sam Walton in Rogers, Arkansas. Now, Walmart is a big company with over 10,000 stores that serve over 200 million customers every year. Walmart has always wanted to give customers a great product for a great value. The founder knew that a good way to get satisfy customers was to design a brand where people from any class would be able to purchase it without changing the quality of the product. With this idea they would be successful in serving to all kind of costumers, and at the end they were benefited from it. Big idea to redesign package: The big idea for this product is to change the appearance of it. At first I wasnt interested in changing the logo, but then i decided to change it a little bit and still leave it simple for the customer to recognize it. The label is very white and blah! It doesnt look appealing to the customers and it doesnt look like something you would want to buy compared to the other brands. My idea is to give some colors and show the actual soup fro people to see what they are getting. At the same time, I want to drive the customers eye to it. But its something you wont do if the color is all the same; even the soup. I want to give something cheap but appealing to the costumer.
