Our hands are not clean; our actions do not glorify you. Our hearts are not pure; our motivations do not glorify you. Our words are not true; our deceitfulness does not glorify you. Our allegiance is fickle; our idolatry does not glorify you. By your mercy, O God, give us hands that are clean, hearts that are pure, tongues that are true, and souls that worship you alone, that our whole lives may glorify you. Amen.

WE PRAY FOR OTHERS The pastor will share prayer requests and the congregation will respond: Lord, hear our prayer. After the prayers have been lifted, we will pray together the Lords Prayer: Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. Announcements Mission TripToday, youth and adults from Berkeley are serving at the Methodist Mission Home in San Antonio, where they have worked since Friday on building and grounds projects. They have also shared recreational time with residents. Tomorrow they return to BUMC via Blanco State Park. Kathy Beth Stavinoha will share a presentation about her mission trip to Liberia earlier in the year. School SuppliesThe Berkeley UMW school supply drive will take place over three Sundays: July 29, August 5, and August 12. A collection box with supply lists will be in the narthex. We received $618 through our July Mission Focus Offering, which will go toward purchasing supplies for Cunningham and Widen Elementary Schools. Update on Pastors HousingActually, theres no news to share. Rev. Devine has no idea when construction will be completed and she can move into her new home at 10809 Desert Willow Loop, Austin, 78748. Meanwhile, she and Angela are thankful to have a room at the Extended Stay facility at 290 & Mopac. As soon as a moving date is certain, she will let everyone know!
