Food Pantry Items of the Week and Additional Volunteer eeded
Our Food Pantry’s supplies of
sugar, laundry detergent, individually wrapped tooth brushes and toilet paper
are very low. The families who share from our pantry truly appreciate the generosity of all those who donate to it. The Food Pantry is also in need of an additional volun-teer to stock the shelves and rotate the items twice a month on a Friday morning in our rectory basement. If you are in-terested, please call Alice Maluso at 908-464-3232.

Dear OLP Parishioners,  I wanted to take a chance to thank and update you on the Catholic college outreach I work for. In 2009 I went to serve with St. Paul’s Outreach (SPO) in Ohio and a number of you  supported me financially and through prayers. I am so grateful to have your support! I’m still working with SPO at Seton Hall University. This is my third year working with SPO and I love it! The need for college students to hear about God and have  support for their faith in college is what drives me to do this missionary work. At Seton Hall we have seen God working in  students’ lives as they hear more about Him. It’s a privilege  for me to be a part of such an important mission. If you would like to hear more about SPO or how you could support my work with it please contact me at rita.buganski@spoweb.org  or (908).603.9305. Thanks and God bless you!  Rita Buganski
Share the Joy- Summer 2012
The Missionaries of Charity serve the poorest of the poor at Saint Augustine Parish in Newark where they conduct a sum-mer camp for 80-100 children. The camp runs through dinner on Wednesday evenings and the sisters rely on families in the Archdiocese to assist them in serving the children a nutritious meal. Please consider helping the sisters by providing part of a meal for 20 children. The sisters also welcome help in serv-ing the meal to the campers. The Wednesday’s that the sisters are in need are July 25th and August 1st. Please contact Andrea Kull at 908-273-4749 if you are able to help this summer. Thank you for your generosity and willing-ness to serve. The sisters and campers are always most grate-ful.
