Education Seminar At School Level

Objective: This is my innovative idea regarding education. The main objective of this idea is to clear the children about their future goals and selection of subjects. Problem: It is easier to built strong children than repair broken men (Frederick Douglass) In our society children and parents have less awareness regarding the courses or subjects. The major trend of our society and country is to make a child doctor and engineer etc. But all over the world there are many fields and subjects due to this countries move upward day by day. And developing countries just introduce some subjects at school level. Children bit confuse when they select subject, they do not have high exposure. There is lack of good and capable teachers in private and public both sectors. There is a lack of selective subjects. There is lack of governance in schools especially Government schools have poor condition.

Personal Experience: When I was in matriculation, I did not know about my future plan for studies. After matriculation my friends and parents forced me to select F.Sc pre medical than I selected this program. But this end was very horrible because it was not suitable for me and I got supply in Biology. I was position holder till my school level it was shocked for me to get supply in one subject. After a while, I passed this subject than decided to do B.Sc Math A & B and Economics so I got 85% marks. After my graduation, I selected MBA for further study. In my masters my future objective

was started to clear me like what is suitable for me and which is my area of interest. But now I do not have basics of any subject. I am good in study but have less knowledge regarding any subject. It is worse condition and when I will start my career (teaching) I must need to prepare myself for lectures and this process will take more time.

Suggestions Make a team who conduct this type of seminar in a year or twice a year. Awareness in rural areas Motivate students for higher studies by providing more opportunities Introduce and practice of new technology in schools Special seminar for parents regarding children future Introduce more subjects at school rather than typical Follow the strategy of developed countries related education seminars Provide positive thinking to children and nation Provide facilities to students to try their own skills Divert children attention from mobile and computer misuse, give them some opportunities and ideas for spending spare time Motivate towards research work and introduce research at graduation. In Pakistan there is need of more researcher Conduct test or anything else for the judgment of children capability and area of interest Facilitate students by digital library free access at home Make a standardize criteria for selection of teacher Provide proper governance to school system and also make institute or team for this purpose Introduce free online education and provide awareness of it Motivate students by facilitate more employment opportunities

Conclusion Government should take step for this idea because education awareness is necessary for a countrys development. The children are good artists and they are future of country and they can move a country towards progress. Government should introduce a program for the judgment of students abilities than suggest them about subjects and professions.
