Assistant executive housekeepers support the executive housekeeper and other cleaning supervisors in all duties of the housekeeping

operation. Assistant executive housekeepers coordinate, schedule and supervise housecleaning staff, inspect building areas for proper cleaning, and inventory cleaning supplies. They provide on-the-job training, coordinate the housekeeping schedule and facilitate communications among guests, housekeeping staff and other hotel managers. Job purpose of Assistant housekeeping manager is to assist the Housekeeping Manager in the overall management of the Housekeeping Department. Key duties/responsibilities of Assistant housekeeping manager include: 1. Direct all activities of assistant Housekeeping Manager and Office Coordinator to ensure communication and follow-up on any problems, guest requests, special requirements, etc. 2. Take phone calls and radio requests from guests, Front Office and Guest Service and direct room attendants and housemen to complete the required tasks, all of which will be kept in a daily log book. 3. Dispatch and receive guest laundry, employee uniforms, and all house linens to/from outside laundry companies; coordinate and resolve any issue or problem that may arise between the hotel and the outside cleaner. 4. Keep record of all lost and found items as needed. 5. Supervise and control the re-supplying of linen closets, amenities, chemicals, linens, terry etc. , 6. Checks rooms (check out and occupied) daily, and ensures that quality is being maintained by the Room Attendants and Housemen. 7. Ensures that standards in rooms and public areas are being enforced by the assistant Manager, room attendants and housemen. 8. Stays in constant communication with the Engineering Department to maintain and correct all repairs and renovation problems. 9. Oversee the smooth operation of afternoon and night shifts. 10. Staffing and scheduling with the Housekeeping Department, adhering to strict budget control. 11. Ensuring that all of the staff has sufficient tools to complete their duties. 12. Collect from room attendants their reports and keys, and ensure that all guest room floors are in order. 13. Report to General Manager. 14. Foster good relations and teamwork with all other departments in the hotel. 15. Strives to always achieve utmost guest satisfaction in any situation. 16. Overall administration of all employees assigned to the Housekeeping Department. 17. Open the Housekeeping Department as needed, prepare and designate room attendants and housemen daily assignments including PM room attendants, turn-down and late check-out rooms, as well as DND room assignments.

Duties and Responsibilities: Supervises staff always properly grooming and under the hotel standard policy. Assists Executive Housekeeper to supervise, support the staff motivates, to be honest and concentrate on their responsible Daily checks in the staff logbook and directly report to the Executive Housekeeper or Operations Manager. Assists Executive Housekeeper on the function plans and staff assignment their special duties may occur by each function. Supervises and controls production of linen room, uniform room and flower arranging. Fully responsible for the Housekeeping department in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper. Assists developing weekly schedules based on forecast, records staff attendance, schedules holidays, vacations, leave etc that depends on the hotel occupancy. Co-ordinates with laundry section and supervise system developing. Maintains equipment and supervise the staff in linen storerooms. Maintains equipment, chemicals etc. in all sections, always in condition and properly. Follow a routine schedule using a checklist her in overseeing the proper cleaning of each areas cleanliness and upkeep. Reports to Executive Housekeeper on updating rooms maintenance schedule. Impressions to solve the guests complaints may happen. Prepares the staff schedules for rotating during low season. Daily check and control the keys concerned, keeping in & out issued record Daily inspect the responsible areas, always maintain the cleanliness quality to standard level all times and solves all the problems may occur. Always arranges the departmental meeting for staff updated information and follow up their duties. Assists the Executive Housekeeper on the departmental staff evaluate. Prepares training programs for new staff and trains them, holds the refresher training and upgrading for existing staff in all aspects of Housekeeping. Closely works and coordinate with colleagues and enthusiastic. Keeps currently informs and reports all matters to the Executive Housekeeper. Eliminate all the hazardous works to staff and check on the safety reason in fire regulations. Other duties may require by the Executive Housekeeper.

Be responsible for the efficient and orderly management of cleaning, servicing and repairing of guestrooms. Be responsible for the hotel linen and check its movements and its distribution to room attendants. Keep an inventory of all housekeeping supplies and check it regularly. Assist the room attendants in their work. Provide the front office with a list of rooms ready for allotment to guests. Organize the flower arrangements. Arrange the training of staff and substitute for the executive housekeeper in case of his/her absence. Update record books, registers and files. Compile the maids roster. Check the VIP and OOO ( Out-of-order ) rooms
