The Morrison Trio is an exciting new chamber group, its members (Benjamin Morrison, violin, Katarzyna Bieniasz, Cello,

Fang Li, Piano) coming from three different continents. The diversity and unique qualities of each member culminates in a trio which excel in many different musical eras, from Classical to contemporary works. Currently studying chamber music Masters with Professor Chou (Parnassus Trio) at the University for Dramatic Arts, Graz, the Morrison Trio enjoys a busy concert schedule. In December 2011, The Morrison trio was awarded third prize in the National Austrian Chamber music Competition Gradus ad Parnassum. In the same month, the trio was a prize-winner in the Martha Debelli Competition in Graz, Austria. In February 2012 the Morrison trio competed in the finals of the prestigious International Schubert Competition. Das Morrison-Trio ist ein hochinteressantes, neues Kammerensemble. Seine Mitglieder (Ben Morrison, Violine, Katarzyna Bieniasz, Violoncello und Fang Li, Klavier) kommen aus drei verschiedenen Lndern. Die Unterschiedlichkeiten und die einzigartigen Qualitten der Mitglieder gipfeln in einem Trio, welches sich in den verschiedensten musikalischen Epochen auszeichnet, von der Klassik bis zur zeitgenssischen Musik. Derzeit studieren die Mitglieder des Trios Kammermusik bei Herrn Univ.Prof. Chou (Parnassus Trio) an der Kunstuniversitt Graz. Das Morrison Trio erfreut sich ber einen vollen Konzertplan. Im Dezember 2011 gewann das Morrison Trio den 3. Preis beim sterreichischen Wettbewerb fr Kammermusik Gradus ad Parnassum. Im selben Monat gewann das Trio den Martha Debelli Wettbewerb in Graz, sterreich. Im Februar 2012 erreichte das Trio das Finale des angesehenen Internationalen Wettbewerbs Franz Schubert und die Musik der Moderne.
