Soon after the reports of Kareena Kapoor deserting Sanjay Leela Bhansalis Ram Leela, and Priyanka Chopra replacing her, the director along with his lead star Ranveer Singh was spotted in Bhuj watching a show of Bol Bachchan. Though Ranveer was dressed in a Gujarati costume to hide his real identity, it didnt help much. People recognized him and started gathering around him for autographs. So, Bhansali and Ranveer had to leave the film in between because of the fear of getting mobbed. Bhansali and Ranveer had gone to Bhuj to prepare for their upcoming film which is love story set in Gujarat. Bhansali wanted Ranveer to get the first hand taste of the Gujarati lifestyle, culture and language. Since Bol Bachchan has just released, the two decided to catch the show in a nearby theatre. Ideally, I would have taken more time off, but when I saw shots of the new reality show, I loved it. Item girl and actress Survi Chatterjee has turned producer and announced her own film project. The film will be directed by Hemant Nilim Das and features Survi Chatterjee in the main lead. The film is based on the story of a young couple who hail from different castes and communities from the interiors of Rajasthan. It is based on the subject of honour killings in certain sections and certain castes in India. The film also features Bhojpuri hero Manoj Malhotra in the main lead opposite Survi Chatterjee. On the whole, COCKTAIL has a fascinating first half, charismatic performances, harmonious music and the trendy look and styling as its aces, but the second half is not as tempting or intoxicating as the first hour. It pales when compared to the attentiongrabbing first hour. Yet, all said and done, this ones primarily targeted at the Gen Next, especially those in metros, who might identify with the on-screen characters. Romance comes easy to Saif Ali Khan. He slips into the romantic characters, playing the uber-cool, trendy, suave, metrosexual guy with elegance. Films such as DIL CHAHTA HAI, KAL HO NAA HO, HUM TUM, SALAAM NAMASTE and LOVE AAJ KAL only consolidated and cemented his status in this genre. Thats one of the prime reasons why COCKTAIL generates curiosity. But this ones about love and friendship.A tug-ofwar of sorts. Its murmured that Woody Allens VICKY CRISTINA BARCELONA is the motivation behind COCKTAIL. Not true! In any case, the concept of one boy, two girls and an emerging love tale isnt an innovative subject matter for Hindi movies. In fact, scores of movies based on this plot have been narrated on the home screen prior to this. But the twirl in the romance comes when the trio seems blissful in each others company, is living together under one roof and then the unthinkable and unimaginable happens cupid strikes. The man falls in love with his girlfriends best friend. A spanking new cocktail? Not entirely! The curse of the second half, which plagues most Hindi films, troubles COCKTAIL as well. Meera [Diana Penty] starts living with Veronica [DeepikaPadukone], after she gets dumped by Kunal [RandeepHooda]. Meera is very desi at heart and also an introvert, while Veronica is a wild-child. Though the two are poles apart, they get close within days of getting to know each other. Enter Gautam [Saif Ali Khan], who has a torrid affair with Veronica and starts living with her. Its a no commitments relationship. Meera, however, dislikes Gautam. But the unthinkable happens: Gautam and Meera fall in love. First things first! COCKTAIL represents a mlange of three divergent characters: Saif is wacky and outrageous, Deepika is intense and wild and Diana is calm and undemanding. Whip and fluff up the three and the title seems completely justified. Also, the three characters experience a cocktail of emotions: Love, lust, laughter and of course, all that comes with heart-break. HomiAdajania, who made his directorial debut with BEING CYRUS, attempts a rom-com in COCKTAIL with effortless ease, handling a number of sequences with dexterity. Come to think of it, COCKTAIL is a complex film, cinematography gives the film the international feel. In fact, the film has several stunning visuals. The dialogue seem straight out of real life, but are wicked at times too [I am carrying his bun in my oven]. After LOVE AAJ KAL and AARAKSHAN, Saif and Deepika team up for the third time and the chemistry and comfort between the actors is unmistakably obvious. Saif has that flair for rom-coms and Homi injects the Delhi flavor into his character, which makes his character all the more notable. Saif fits into his character fluently and leaves a deep-seated impression. The scene stealer is, without doubt, Deepika, who not only looks sizzling hot, but pitches in her career-best performance. She lets herself loose, surrenders to her character wholly and nails the performance. Its an incredibly noticeable act. It wouldnt be erroneous to state that COCKTAIL would do for Deepika what JAB WE MET did for Kareena. Diana, who makes her acting debut, gets to portray a rather difficult character for her debut film. Theres a very disarming kind of innocence that she brings to the role and she impresses a great deal.

Sarge, I just got a telegram that Private Jones mother died yesterday. Better go tell him and send him in to see me. So the Sergeant calls for his morning formation and lines up all the troops. Listen up, men, says the Sergeant. Johnson, report to the mess hall for KP. Smith, report to Personnel to sign some papers. The rest of you men report to the Motor Pool for maintenance. Oh by the way, Jones, your mother died, report to the commander. Later that day the Captain called the Sergeant into his office. Hey, Sarge, that was a pretty cold way to inform Jones his mother died. Couldnt you be a bit more tactful, next time? Yes, sir, answered the Sarge. Dental Facts For Pregnant Women - 1

Dr. Brian Kaplansky During pregnancy, the hormonal changes that your body is undergoing presents itself in many parts of the body including gum tissue. It is common for your gums to become very swollen and inflamed. Bleeding from the gums can easily happen because the inflamed gum tissue is very thin and fragile. This occurs in a majority of pregnant women and can be alarming in severe cases. Mistakenly, many women will stop flossing and/or avoid the gums when brushing, because of the bleeding that results. In fact, you should be doing the exact opposite! When your gums are inflamed, they become more susceptible to plaque build up, which causes even more swelling and bleeding. The danger in allowing bacteria to accumulate under the gum tissue is that the bacteria can easily penetrate the thin and bleeding tissue and have direct access to your bloodstream . This can be dangerous to both you and your unborn baby. There are 5 easy steps to follow that will decrease the likelihood of bacteria penetrating the bloodstream via your gum tissue: 1. Floss your teeth daily but be sure to ask your hygienist how not to damage the gum tissue during flossing. Basically, the pressure of the dental floss should always be directed towards tooth structure, and not towards gum tissue. Expect lots of bleeding during the first week of flossing. 2. Use a soft-bristled toothbrush and be sure to gently brush the area where the tooth meets the gum tissue. Dont let bleeding stop you from thoroughly brushing. 3. Rinse every morning with a solution of salt and water. Take a half teaspoonful of salt and mix it with half a

cup of warm water and stir. Swish the solution vigorously one mouthful at a time until finished. 4. Rinse every evening with Listerine to decrease the bacterial count in your mouth 5. Visit your hygienist or dentist every 3 months during pregnancy. The only precaution to be taken at the dental office is to not have any dental x-rays throughout your pregnancy. Hrithik cuts short Bali holiday Katrina and I cant be a real to meet grandparents couple: Salman Khan
Hrithik Roshan has played the dutiful son on screen, most famously in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001). And now hes doing it in real life too. A few days ago, he proved hes a family man first by cutting short his break in Bali to be with his parents and grandparents in Dubai. Hrithik was holidaying in Bali with wife Sussanne and kids Hrehaan and Hridhaan. Incidentally, his friend Arjun Rampal and his family were also with them. But once Hrithik learned that his grandparents, along with his father Rakesh Roshan, mother Pinky and sister Sunaina had gone to Dubai for an impromptu vacation, he decided to join them. Since he is very close to his family, he wanted to spend some time with them. He returned on Sunday night, says an insider close to Hrithik. Sussanne and the Reams of newsprint have been devoted to the speculations surrounding Salman Khan and Katrina Kaifs alleged romantic relationship and subsequent break-up. However, over the years, the two of them have refrained from commenting on the issue. Yet, even as the two actors are paired with each other in director Kabir Khans romantic thriller Ek Tha Tiger (they were last paired together in Yuvraaj in 2008), Salman Khan made a comment refuting all rumours about seeing Katrina: We cant be a real life couple, he said, even as he praised her: You can fall in love (with her) not only on screen but off screen too. Thats why people love Katrina, and follow her in hordes wherever she goes. Salman sounds thoroughly impressed with Katrinas work in the movie as he says, She is a very hard-working actor.
