The triangles are formatted with no line, white fill, and Tight text wrapping. Triangle #1 was created first and set to exactly half the width of the text column. This is done the same way as the triangular text, but the triangle AutoShapes are replaced with the "Moon" AutoShape (near the bottom of the Basic Shapes in the AutoShapes menu). The yellow diamond-shaped handle of the AutoShape was dragged to make the inner arc roughly semicircular. In the Format AutoShape dialog, on the Layout tab, click the Advanced button. Set the wrapping to Tight, and set "Right only" for the left-hand moon, and "Left only" for the right-hand moon. That prevents the enclosed text from escaping outside the moons.
