Introduction of VOITH

Representing a dynamic business house of Nepal, Vaidya's Organization of Industries & Trading Houses (VOITH) integrates a wide range of trading houses, industrial enterprises, services, construction activities and educational academies. VOITH staffs over 7000 employees, and takes pride in contributing to the development of the country by supporting those business activities that help shape the future of Nepal.

CSR in VOITH
The organization has given priority to labor-intensive, agro-based industries in view of uplifting the living standard of Nepals poorest people, especially the farmers. This investment is ideally a socially responsible step to motivate the farmers to retain their zeal for agriculture and farming, and create optimism for the profession itself. Apart from the socially responsible investment decision, the philanthropic journey of VOITH continues with the slogan "Little things we do". It basically focuses on education for the underprivileged, health and environmental conservation, and sports. Education Aware of the need of education for the employee's children, VOITH has built a number of schools in close vicinity to its tea gardens and agro-based industries. The children receive education at highly subsidized fees so that they can write a better future for themselves. Orphans, handicapped, and poor children, who live in desperation, are provided with VOITH scholarships to study in different schools across Nepal. VOITH has also been sponsoring the education of 17 Nepalese students in the Philippines where they are pursuing degrees in medicine, engineering and agriculture. This is helping them to script a better and brighter future of Nepal in days to come. Health and Environmental Conservation For the comfort of passengers, VOITH has built and maintained numerous waiting stands with a going green touch at the bus stops in around Kathmandu. This has helped passengers to shelter from scorching sun and possible rain as well as helped traffic management in a way.

It has been gifting vehicles to the Nepal Red Cross Society, Nepal Family Planning Association and for the protection of wildlife in the national parks. It has also set up awards for conservationists in order to applaud their efforts and dedication to help them stimulate to continue the good work. These contributions are worthy in facilitating health services, and conserving the environment on a national level. Sports In sports, VOITH has been active in sponsoring varieties of sporting events. It has been sponsoring the All-Nepal Annual Toyota Hockey Tournament, Toyota Golf Tournament and the ANFA Football Tournament. This is an attempt to promote sportsmanship and help the players carry Nepals pride to the global arena. Likewise, VOITH has sponsored other events such as the Women's Motor Rally, and the International Marathon, the first ever to be organized in Nepal. Eventually, the amount raised by Toyota Womens Motor Rally was donated to one of the local school at Hile, Dhankuta.
