AS 2568—1991
This Australian Standard was prepared by Committee HT/4, Medical Gases and
Pipeline Services. It was approved on behalf of the Council of Standards Australia on
27 May 1990 and published on 11 February 1991.
Review of Australian Standards. To keep abreast of progress in industry, Australi an Standards are subject

PREFACE
This Standard was prepared by the Standards Australia Committee on Medical Gases and Pipeline
Services under the direction of the Health Technology Standards Board to supersede
AS 2568 — 1987.
This Standard differs from the 1987 edition in that a limit for oil contamination has been specified,
and a new method for testing for oil contamination has been included.
