1. Create a OneNote file called Olympics 2. Create a page titled Brainstorm.

Brainstorm everything you know about the Olympics.

3. Go to the Get Set London 2012 website. Scroll down to find 5 activities about the Olympics (Fact File, Picture Story, Know Your Values, Match the Sound, Sound Track). Complete all these activities. Now add a new text box on your Brainstorm page and add new things you know about the Olympics. 4. Create a page called My Olympics. This page will be a scrapbook page for you to put information, clips, pictures and your own ideas and notes about the Olympics.
5. Create a page called History and collect information about the history of the Olympics. Your history page needs to include: The Ancient Olympics The first modern Olympics and how it started Australias first Olympian Australias first female Olympian Melbourne and Sydney Olympics

6. Create a page called Australian Olympians. Find out about at least 5 successful Australian Olympians. Write about their events, their results, which Olympics they competed at and any interesting information about them. Include a picture of each athlete.

7. Choose one Olympic event. Create a page named for that event. Research the history, rules, equipment, and successful athletes in that event. Find out which Australian/s will be competing in that event in London.
8. Create a new page called Aussie Olympians 2012. Go to the Australian Olympic Athletes website. Choose 2 or 3 athletes to follow during the Olympics. Add their pictures and interesting information about them to your page. During the Olympics you will report on their performances.

9. Choose ONE of the options below:

THE PARALYMPICS Create a page about The Paralympics. Include information about the history of the Paralympics, the events, successful paralympians and Australian paralympians.

LONDON 2012 Create a tourist brochure about London. Include an introduction about why people would want to visit London. Include information about recommended attractions to visit, transport, accommodation, flights. Make sure you include lots of attractive & relevant pictures. USEFUL WEBSITES

OLYMPIC CITIES Print a world map. You can find one here. Show the locations of all the cities that have hosted the Olympics. Label the city and the year the Olympics were held there.
