The India and China growth story-Is it a farce? The India and China growth story is indeed a farce...

on the face of India. India and China are like two childhood friends rising from ashes, sharing same tragic story but the speed of growth rate of China is way greater than India, to an extent that it is more like a threat and enemy for India. What led to such a leap of improvement in Chinas growth rate are its government strategy, its communism, and its hierarchical ruling. India which was an IT hub sometime ago is facing great competition from its neighboring China which is not only developing soft skills of its countrymen but also empowering upon SMES and MMEs to create greater revenues and focusing upon GDP. Also its strategy to making more exports than imports is another factor contributing to its annual growth rate. China pampers its industrial sector because they know they are the ones who are going to win the Bread (not in literally) for them, India on the other hand is making tough policies which can pose a serious threat to our imports and exports also it can bring us down to a second position as for the most favorite investment havens race , The recent GAAR and FDI in retail and Vodafone 3Gspectrum case are forcing companies to give it a second thought before investing in India. Chinas growth rate was not of much concern for India if it has not started affecting us politically, take the recent tiff at Brahmputra basin or asking for a separate visas to Kashmiri residents to its invasion in Arunachal Pradesh , one can easily state that China is up for something and its definitely not good. Chinas friendly relations with Pakistan and Afghanistan can cause serious concern for India ,especially when India is surrounded by not so friendly nations its definitely going to affect the growth rate of the country , especially after its say at UNO against Sri Lanka . India is now a country which is having serious intrinsic turbulences and extrinsic frictions which it needs to work upon to get back into race against India definitely needs to improve either of the factors; external forces are definitely hard to change but it is high time to work upon internal matters, bringing good governance and fighting evils like corruption. But this is only dark side of the story , there is also a part where white knight rises. There are some external agencies which can bring India and china closer like USA forcing both India and China to cease their imports from Iran , and the modulations in the ever changing global markets, Pakistan ever increasing notoriety (which might affect China someday , to open up their eyes) might bring the two nations closer and sing the slogan hindi Chini bhai bhai again. Besides all the glory of China that has been stated above there is still a part of concern which can take her to the ashes again, that is the resentment of her people ,dissatisfaction caused by government is a serious concern also she is on the footsteps of Japan and south Korea , countries who fall on their faces following this tough and turf policies of communism. The end of this fable of two friends can be sweet if bunnyIndia starts working , instead of being footloose before the turtle China takes it all . And for China it would be good to look at growth rate as

overall development of its beings rather than only thinking them as of machines of getting good revenues. In this rat race of whos shirt is whiter? India and China need to look back at their histories of origins and save their dignity ,culture and work for betterment of world and south Asian continent.
