contaminated wastewater into the ground. Fats
and fatty acids, vegetable oils, salts, sugars, acids,
bleach, and water will disintegrate concrete without
the proper protective coatings.* Over time, even these
protective coatings will break down under harsh
maintenance practices. Eventually every concrete

With Schiers exclusive Diffusion Flow design, traditional
baffles are a thing of the past. The inlet diffuser
distributes wastewater through the interceptor in a
smooth, even flow pattern which eliminates dead spots.
Unnecessary cleaning surfaces (as seen with multiple
baffle designs) are also

Grease, or F.O.G. (fats, oils and grease), is lighter than water it naturally separates under the right
conditions. In order for this to happen, a grease interceptor must control the flow of the influent AND
distribute that flow through the body of the unit efficiently. All Trapper II and Great Basin models are
designed using Built-In Flow Control and Diffusion Flow for Maximum Grease Separation Efficiency.
At maximum flow rate and up to the rated grease
capacity, Schier Grease Interceptors remove 92% of
all floatable substances with a specific gravity of .87
or less. Efficiency increases at lower flow rates.

Terms and Conditions
Customers: Schier sells through wholesale distribution. The following
terms and conditions pertain to qualied customers only.
Schier Products, at its option, may qualify or disqualify any customer.
All prices are subject to change without notice.
Credit Terms: 2% 10th Prox, Net 30 days
If the invoice is dated before the 25th of the month, a 2% discount is allowed
if payment is received on or before the 10th day of the following month.
For example, if the invoice is dated October 20th, the discount is allowed if
payment is received on or before November 10th.
If the invoice is dated on or after the 25th of the month, a 2% discount is
allowed if payment is received on or before the 10th day of the month after the
month following the invoice. For example, if the invoice is dated October 26th,
the discount is allowed if payment is received on or before December 10th.
A 2% service charge will be applied to all overdue accounts. Accounts that
regularly pay beyond net terms will be denied open account status. All prices
are subject to change without notice.
Returned Goods: Schier will not receive product without a Schier-issued RGA.
Return of standard products in saleable condition will be subject to a 25%
restocking charge, in addition to return shipping costs. Returns are not allowed
on custom orders.
Freight Terms: Shipments are F.O.B. New Berlin, WI. Freight charges are pre-paid
and billed with product invoice. Full freight allowed (FFA) shipments are available
with stocking or custom orders.

Company (Schier) represents
and warrants that all Trapper II
and Great Basin series products
(Products) will be free from any
and all defects in material and
workmanship, including corrosion,
during the lifetime of the plumbing
system in which the Products
were originally installed and
will, at its option, agree to
repair, replace, or supply credit
to the original purchaser.
This warranty does not cover
damage caused by the Products
normal usage, or wear and tear, nor does it cover damage from naturally
occurring phenomenon, including, but not limited to UV, freeze-related damage,
or natural disasters. This warranty does not cover the purchasers cost of routine
maintenance including replacement of parts required in routine maintenance.
This warranty does not cover the corrosion of optional steel covers on Trapper II
units. This warranty shall be effective if, and only if, the Products:
* Were installed in accordance with Schiers notes, specications and
instructions, for installation, operation, and maintenance;
* Were installed in conformance with all applicable building and
plumbing codes, and passed all applicable testing methods
immediately following installation;
* Have not been subjected to misuse or abuse, whether negligent or intentional;
* Were never modied, repaired, or altered by any individual(s) not
authorized by Schier.
This warranty is the purchasers sole and exclusive remedy, and acceptance
of this exclusive remedy is a condition of the contract for the purchase of these Products.
In no event shall Schier be liable for any incidental, special, consequential or
punitive damages, or for any costs, attorney fees, expenses, losses or delays
claimed to be as a consequence of any damage to, failure of, or defect in any
products including, but not limited to, any claims for loss of prots, transportation,
removal and installation charges. This warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other
warranties or conditions, written or oral, expressed or implied.
