There are times I think the world could be a much better place. Is everything already predetermined?

People with different schools of thought Is life predetermined? I think nothing is set in stone. There is no way one can tell what the future will be whether one lives or dies? Human free-will plays a part, but how much exactly is free-will and how much is chance These are truly left to our magnificent creator. Then we ask, What is our creator like? Is our creator similar to ourselves or different? Thinking about this, humans of course have their own little minds and then they come up with stories. Greek mythology is a good example of such. Each culture with their own explanation, and regardless, there is something even greater than ourselves. The growth of diverse cultural beliefs consumed earth, and here we are today with a most rich and diverse species whose thoughts vary tremendously, yet our underlying core and making have undeniable likeness. Despite vast differences in fundamental philosophical beliefs, the physical appearances are similar in that all are more or less symmetrical in binary terms. Two arms, two legs, heads, body with torso, and etc. Even how communication takes place is similar generally verbally and with facial expressions, though the mode of language/dialect is different is more or less regional. Even the stars humans looked upon the skies, and they have relied on planetary and seasonal passages of predictions. In Chinese culture, there are 12 animals for their zodiac. In the Western culture, there are 12 signs as well, one used per month. In Indian astrology, they also have 12 symbols. What is astrology? Why are some people shunning astrology altogether and others embracing it? What truths are hidden within the depths? People tend to fear what they do not know. They run and hide from what they do not know and understand. There are also those who are brave, and ask, so they can understand what they do not know. This piece will reflect my philosophy of life. This piece is not intended for creating arguments, nor is it intended for presenting any statistical facts. This writing will contain my personal views and opinions. Being that my background is actually wrought with obstacles, from youth to my current state, I have always worked tremendously hard, though at first glance things appear to come to me easily from a third partys perspective. In my youth, I have often questioned about the world. What it was like? I would face the open sky and ask about the earth, before I even knew it was called earth. I asked about the shape of it. And because beyond the horizon, the skies bent over in a curved manner, as a child, I hypothesized, could it be that the planet we lived on is round. Then later when I started attending school, the first two years felt like a complete immersion in classroom with other children who were not aware of the world it was a complete boring experience nothing accomplished save those few fieldtrips to the wild nature places. Catching crickets and jumping into creeks like a boy just in a panty. This was at the pre-k and kindergarten grades. These grade-times were of no education value whatsoever. It was mostly just play. The first grade, however, was a time of great learning. After being immersed in complete play in the pre 1st grade years, there were low hopes for the first grade transition. Contrary to my initial thoughts, there was tremendous amount of input during first grade. This was the year when I learned my alphabets, how to read, how to write in cursive, addition and subtraction. It was indeed a year of much brain activity. Included in the rigor of learning, this system also had a good

component of Gym, and art, where in the classroom we learned how to crochet. It indeed was very diverse in how education addressed the student from a whole person view.
