ABOUT VELTECH GROUP

VEL TECH group of educational institutions was established in 1990 by a well known industrialist couple dedicated to public service, Dr. Rangarajan and Dr. Sakunthala Rangarajan, who by then had 30 years of experience in developing industries and international trade. What took off as a modest school now stands as a monument of glory for Chennai city. Student strength of above 12,000 throngs the various educational institutions of VEL TECH group. The group offers 59 courses inclusive of various Post Graduate courses. Dr.R.Rangarajan is currently the Syndicate Member of University of Madras and Anna University. Vel Tech Multi Tech Dr. Rangarajan Dr. Sakunthala Engineering College was started in the academic year 2000 and is certified by ISO 9001:2008. It is affliated to Anna University, approved by AICTE and accredited by NBA. The college has excellent infrastructure facilities which helps providing hands on experience to students to master their skills in various disciplines.

ABOUT DEPARTMENT
The Department of Management Studies was established in the year 2002 and has been on a progressive path since its inception. For the past few years, the department has acquired many credentials. This was mainly achieved by the collective and responsive efforts of the faculty, the supporting staff and the students.The faculty as well as students have published several articles in journals and books of repute. The department aims to develop a centre of academic excellence which will provide both knowledge and skills to meet the challenges of today's fast changing business scenario. The teaching methodology adopted in the department lays emphasis on continuous industry interactions by the ways of seminars, guest lectures, projects and industrial visits.

Cash prizes will be given for the best papers presented in each track : ( I prize - `4000/-, II prize - `3000/-, III prize - `1000/- )

GUIDELINES FOR PAPER SUBMISSION

The participants are requested to send a detailed abstracts of maximum 200 words of their original research work. Abstracts must include a clear indication of the purpose of research, methodology, major findings and its implications. The author(s) should clearly mention under what area of interest of the conference the paper is to be included. They should adhere to the following.

OBJECTIVE OF THE CONFERENCE:

This conference aims at providing platform for empirical research to Managers, Faculty Members, Research Scholar & Students to present and discuss their outcomes. The subject lineup ensures that participants would get a vision, proper direction for marching ahead to take on these challenges.This conference invites submission of unpublished, empirical, high quality research papers from practicing Managers, Academicians, Faculty Members, Research Scholars, Entrepreneurs and Students for presentation in the conference.
