Eating Recovery Centers Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) was designed by nationally recognized eating disorders experts dedicated to developing effective treatment programs and is overseen by a compassionate team of medical and clinical professionals. PHPs integrated treatment philosophy combines medical, psychiatric, nutritional and psychological elements to give patients and families the necessary tools to achieve lasting behavioral change. Whereas many partial hospitalization programs for the treatment of eating disorders are comprised of 6-8 hours of programming offered 5-7 days per week, Eating Recovery Centers PHP provides 11.5 hours of treatment, 7 days per week. By offering a full day of programming every day of the week, patients are supported through all meals and snacks and have ample structure and containment to achieve symptom interruption and/or weight restoration. Combined with daytime medical support, the strategic intensity of Eating Recovery Centers PHP can provide a non-residential treatment resource for individuals requiring a higher level of care.

PHPs well-rounded curriculum offers staff-supported opportunities to practice interactions and challenges outside of treatment through interactive, staff-supported group sessions. Patients can practice recovery skills during overnight stays at home or in Eating Recovery Center apartment residence communities, which provide a peer-supported living environment for out-oftown patients or those that prefer a recovery-focused lodging option near the treatment center. PHP is a critical stage of the full continuum of care in eating disorders recovery, representing a step-down from Inpatient and Residential levels of care and a precursor to Outpatient treatment. Eating Recovery Centers talented team of treatment professionals understands the progression through the various levels of care and offers resources to meet all continuing treatment needs, whether patients require additional medical support or need assistance building a post-discharge team of care.
