At the completion of each book, students will submit his/her reading response as an online form. This will create a review of the book viewable to your childs peers. Your child can also use his/her peers reviews as a starting point for new book selection.

Click on Novel Review Form. 4. Complete the questions, following the hints and directions. If you need to come in at lunch to complete this step, please remember to get a Fast Pass. 5. Complete the log on the back of this page. Get a parent signature to verify you have completed the reading, and have your parent indicate the number of books. Students should choose novels they have not read before, and should chose books that are not too easy or difficult. Selections should come from the 40 Book Challenge form given in class to ensure variety of genres. We will go the library so students can obtain reading material. We have implemented a school-wide Drop Everything And Read (DEAR) program in which students will be given time during homeroom each day to read. Students are encouraged to make use of this time. If a student uses this time diligently every day, it is estimated s/he could feasibly complete about half of the pages at school. Please sign that you have reviewed this information. These signatures are a homework stamp tomorrow. Keep this page in the homework section of your binder for your reference.
