4. FINDINGS
The study shows that Dudhsagar Dairy is a leading marketer of Dairy products in the North Gujarat regions. Customers are highly satisfied with Dudhsagar dairy Products Most of Retailers and Milk distributors are doing malpractice by charging more price than Max retail price (MRP) printed on product package. Dairy is lacking quality at packing of milk and its products

Need to increase promotional and marketing of products to increase sales of porducts apart from milk ,Ghee ,ice-cream

SUGGESTIONS

During my research the major drawback I found out was that people are unaware about the other milk products apart from milk ice cream, buttermilk , Ghee and Ice cream . it is advise to increase promotional activities of all dairy products which are less famous in market. Eg. Advertisement in Newspaper, Hording, advertisement on packing of products etc.

The company should introduce a 1 liter packing pouch of milk as normally people prefer to buy on average 1 liter milk on day.

Dairy should focus on Sagar Ghee segment to increase market size through promotional activity.

To increase awerness of products through promotional offer Eg. to give free small sample of Srikhand with Ghee which helps to dairy marketing its product.

A Dairy and Milk federation both have to take a conscious decision and strict action against retailer and milk distributor to narrow the price difference between card and cash for not only for milk but also different varieties of milk.Eg. to cancel the licence of retailer of milkand milk products sales for stopping malpractice , to increase a milk and milk product sales at MRP. Dairy own milk distributor parlour for

Conclusion
This project was a greater importance to me. I have learnt a lot in this project. This project shows me the way to work in the market. How to communicate with different type of people.Learnt how to sell. How things work in fast moving consumer goods having perishable nature of these product one need an excellent distribution.and carefully select market because these product if transferred to far area then cost attached t o the product will make it un competitive . Milk marketing is full game of Branding .if branding of a product is done then the following things has to be taken into consideration like availability of product ,continuous change in the product as required by consumers and third is price of the product according to satisfaction level of the people and last but not the least is the visibility of product and a promotional strategy to hit, peoples mind. Ultimately I must say that I am privileged to work in the company like dudhsagar dairy get such a real time exposure of the dairy..
