Read Me First: NI-DAQmx and DAQ Device Installation Guide

This document contains instructions in English, French, German, Japanese, Korean, and Simplified Chinese. Install your software before installing new hardware.

Install Application Software

Install NI application software, such as NI LabVIEW, or another application development environment (ADE), such as ANSI C or Visual Basic .NET. Refer to the NI-DAQmx Readme on the software media for supported application software and ADE versions. Back up any applications before upgrading your software or modifying the application.

Install NI-DAQmx
Install NI-DAQmx driver software before installing new hardware devices so Windows can detect them. 1. Insert the software media. If the NI-DAQmx installer does not open automatically, select StartRun. Enter x:\autorun.exe, where x is the drive letter. Complete the instructions. 2. Register your NI hardware online at ni.com/register when prompted.

3. The last dialog box opens with the following options. Restart Later to install more NI software or documentation. If you are using a MXI-3 link from a PC to control a PXI chassis, exit and install the MXI-3 software, available at ni.com/downloads, before using the DAQ device. Shut Down or Restart if you are ready to install your device. Restart if you are using a system running the LabVIEW Real-Time Module. Download NI-DAQmx to the target using MAX. Refer to the Measurement & Automation Explorer Remote Systems Help by selecting HelpHelp TopicsRemote Systems in MAX. If you have problems installing your software, go to ni.com/support/
daqmx.

Unpack and Install the Devices, Accessories, and Cables

Remove the packaging and inspect the device. Contact NI if the device is damaged. Do not install a damaged device. If you have more than one DAQ device to install, install them all now using the procedure for your device type. If your system includes SCXI modules to connect to DAQ devices, first install the DAQ components.
Caution

The device is static sensitive. Always properly ground yourself and the equipment when handling or connecting the device.

For safety and compliance information, refer to the device documentation, available at ni.com/manuals or on the NI-DAQmx software media. The following symbols may be on your device. This icon denotes a caution, which advises you of precautions to take to avoid injury, data loss, or a system crash. When this symbol is marked on the device, refer to the Read Me First: Safety and Electromagnetic Compatibility document, shipped with the device, for precautions to take. When this symbol is marked on a product, it denotes a warning advising you to take precautions to avoid electrical shock. When this symbol is marked on a product, it denotes a component that may be hot. Touching this component may result in bodily injury.

CompactDAQ Devices
Complete the following steps to install a C Series I/O module: 1. Power off the CompactDAQ chassis. 2. If you are not using mounting accessories, attach the rubber standoffs to the back of the CompactDAQ chassis. Attach a ring lug to a 14 AWG (1.6 mm) wire. Connect the ring lug to the ground terminal on the side of the chassis using the ground screw. Attach the other end of the wire to the system safety ground. Additionally, attach a wire with a ring lug to all other C Series I/O module cable shields. You must connect this wire to the ground terminal of the chassis using the ground screw.
Caution If hazardous voltages, greater than 42.4 V or 60 VDC to earth ground, are present, special safety guidelines apply. Refer to the C Series module user guide before continuing.

3. Squeeze both C Series I/O module latches, insert the I/O module into an empty module slot, and press until both latches lock the module in place. Refer to the C Series I/O module user guide for more information, such as signal connections, safety precautions, and module ratings.

4. Connect the CompactDAQ chassis using the USB cable supplied with your chassis to any available USB port on your computer system. 5. Connect the power source to the chassis. The CompactDAQ chassis requires an external power supply that meets the specifications listed in the NI cDAQ-9172 User Guide and Specifications. 6. Power on the CompactDAQ chassis.

PCI and PCI Express Devices

Complete the following steps to install a PCI and PCI Express device: 1. Power off and unplug the computer. 2. Remove the computer cover and/or the expansion slot cover. 3. Touch any metal part of the computer to discharge any static electricity.

4. Insert the device into the applicable PCI/PCI Express system slot. Gently rock the device into place. Do not force the device into place. Per the PCI standard, NI PCI DAQ devices with the Universal PCI connector are supported in PCI-compliant buses, including PCI-X. You cannot install PCI Express devices in PCI slots and vice versa. PCI Express devices support up-plugging into a PCI Express slot of higher lane width. For guidelines, refer to ni.com/pciexpress. 5. Secure the device mounting bracket to the computer back panel rail. 6. (Optional) On NI M Series PCI Express devices, such as the NI PCIe-6251/6259, connect the PC and the device disk drive power connectors. Refer to the M Series User Manual on the NI-DAQmx media for when to use the disk drive power connector. Use a disk drive power connector that is not in the same power chain as the hard drive.

Connecting or disconnecting the disk drive power connector can affect the analog performance of your device. To compensate for this, NI recommends that you self-calibrate the PCI Express DAQ device in MAX after connecting or disconnecting the disk drive power connector; refer to the DAQ Getting Started Guide at StartAll Programs National InstrumentsNI-DAQDAQ Getting Started Guide. 7. Replace the computer cover, if applicable. 8. Plug in and power on your computer.

PXI and PXI Express Devices

Complete the following steps to install a PXI and PXI Express device: 1. Power off and unplug the PXI/PXI Express chassis. Refer to your chassis manual to install or configure the chassis.
Caution Refer to the Read Me First: Safety and Electromagnetic Compatibility with your PXI/PXI Express chassis or device before removing covers or connecting or disconnecting signal wires.

2. Identify a supported PXI/PXI Express slot in the chassis. Some devices have PXI/PXI Express slot requirements; for information, refer to the device documentation.

If you are using a PXI Express chassis, you can place PXI devices in the PXI slots. If a PXI device is hybrid slot compatible, you can use the PXI Express Hybrid slots. PXI Express devices can be placed only in PXI Express slots and PXI Express Hybrid slots. Refer to the chassis documentation for details. Remove the filler panel of an unused PXI/PXI Express slot. Touch any metal part of the chassis to discharge static electricity. Ensure that the PXI/PXI Express module injector/ejector handle is not latched and swings freely. Place the PXI/PXI Express module edges into the module guides at the top and bottom of the chassis. Slide the device into the PXI/PXI Express slot to the rear of the chassis. When you begin to feel resistance, pull up on the injector/ejector handle to latch the device. Secure the device front panel to the chassis using the front-panel mounting screws. Plug in and power on your PXI/PXI Express chassis.

USB Devices
You must be an Administrator to install NI software and devices on your computer. Complete these steps to install an NI device for USB: 1. Make power connections. If you are using the BP-1 battery pack, install it as described in your BP-1 installation guide. Some NI devices for USB require external power. If your device has an external power supply, verify that the voltage on the external power supply, if any, matches the voltage in your area (120 or 230 VAC) and the voltage required by your device. 2. Connect the power supply or power cord to an electrical outlet and your device. 3. Connect the cable from the computer USB port or from any other hub to any available USB port on the device.

4. If you have a USB device with a power switch, power on the device. The computer should immediately detect your device. When the computer recognizes a USB device, the LED on the device blinks or lights up. Refer to the device documentation for LED pattern descriptions.

Windows Device Recognition

Windows versions earlier than Windows Vista recognize newly installed devices when the computer restarts. Vista installs device software automatically. If the Found New Hardware wizard opens, Install the software automatically as recommended for each device.

NI Device Monitor
After Windows detects newly installed NI USB devices, NI Device Monitor runs automatically at startup. Make sure the NI Device Monitor icon, shown at left, is visible in the taskbar notification area. Otherwise, the NI Device Monitor does not open. To turn the NI Device Monitor on, unplug your device, restart NI Device Monitor by selecting StartAll ProgramsNational InstrumentsNI-DAQNI Device Monitor, and plug in your device. The NI Device Monitor prompts you to select from the following options. These options may vary, depending on the devices and software installed on your system. Begin a Measurement with This Device Using NI LabVIEW SignalExpressOpens a NI-DAQmx step that uses the channels from your device in LabVIEW SignalExpress. Begin an Application with This DeviceLaunches LabVIEW. Choose this option if you have already configured your device in MAX. Run Test PanelsLaunches MAX test panels for your device. Configure and Test This DeviceOpens MAX. Take No ActionRecognizes your device but does not launch an application. The following features are available by right-clicking the NI Device Monitor icon: Run at StartupRuns NI Device Monitor at system startup (default). Clear All Device AssociationsSelect to clear all actions set by the Always Take This Action checkbox in the device auto-launch dialog box. CloseTurns off NI Device Monitor. To turn on NI Device Monitor, select StartAll ProgramsNational InstrumentsNI-DAQ NI Device Monitor.

Accessories
Install accessories and/or terminal blocks according to the instructions in their installation guides. For SCXI and SCC signal conditioning systems, continue with the instructions in the DAQ Getting Started Guide.

Installez le logiciel dapplication

Dballez les priphriques, les accessoires et les cbles

Sortez le priphrique de son emballage et inspectez-le. Contactez NI si le priphrique est endommag. Ninstallez pas un priphrique endommag. Si vous devez installer plusieurs priphriques DAQ, installez-les tous maintenant en utilisant la procdure approprie chaque priphrique. Si votre systme comporte des modules SCXI connecter des priphriques DAQ, installez dabord les composants DAQ.
Attention Ce priphrique est sensible llectricit statique. Mettez toujours lquipement la masse lorsque vous manipulez votre priphrique ou que vous le connectez et assurez-vous dtre vous-mme reli la masse.

Pour consulter les informations relatives la scurit et la conformit, reportez-vous la documentation du priphrique, disponible sur ni.com/ manuals ou sur le mdia de logiciels NI-DAQmx. Les symboles suivants peuvent figurer sur votre priphrique. Cette icne signale un avertissement qui vous indique les prcautions prendre pour viter des prjudices corporels, des pertes de donnes ou un crash du systme. Priphriques CompactDAQ
Effectuez les tapes suivantes pour installer un module dE/S de la srie C : 1. Mettez le chssis CompactDAQ hors tension. 2. Si vous nutilisez pas daccessoires de montage, attachez les pieds en caoutchouc fournis larrire du chssis CompactDAQ. Attachez une bague de retenue un cble 14 AWG (1,6 mm). laide de la vis de masse, connectez la bague de retenue au terminal de masse sur le ct du chssis. Attachez lautre extrmit du fil la masse du systme. De plus, attachez un fil avec une bague de retenue tous les autres blindages des cbles du module dE/S de la srie C. Vous devez connecter ce fil au terminal de masse du chssis en utilisant la vis de masse.

Attention En prsence de tensions dangereuses, suprieures 42,4 V ou 60 VDC la masse, des consignes de scurit spciales sappliquent. Reportez-vous au guide de lutilisateur du module de la srie C avant de continuer.

3. Pressez les deux dispositifs de verrouillage du module dE/S de la srie C, insrez celui-ci dans un emplacement vide et appuyez jusqu ce que les deux dispositifs aient verrouill le module en place. Reportez-vous au guide de lutilisateur du module dE/S de la srie C pour obtenir des informations supplmentaires, notamment sur la connexion de signaux, les mesures de scurit et les spcifications lectriques du module.

4. Connectez le chssis CompactDAQ un port USB disponible sur votre ordinateur en utilisant le cble USB fourni avec le chssis. 5. Connectez la source dalimentation au chssis. Le chssis CompactDAQ ncessite une source dalimentation externe conforme aux spcifications du document intitul NI cDAQ-9172 User Guide and Specifications. 6. Mettez le chssis CompactDAQ sous tension.

4. Insrez la carte dans lemplacement systme PCI/PCI Express appropri. Faites-la basculer doucement pour quelle se mette compltement en place. Ne forcez pas sur la carte pour lenficher dans son emplacement. Conformment la norme PCI, les cartes DAQ NI PCI qui possdent un connecteur Universal PCI sont supportes par les bus conformes PCI, y compris PCI-X. Vous ne pouvez pas installer de cartes PCI Express dans des emplacements PCI et vice versa. Les cartes PCI Express peuvent tre enfiches dans un emplacement PCI Express plus large. Pour obtenir des directives, reportez-vous ni.com/pciexpress/f. 5. Fixez le support de fixation de la carte au rail du panneau arrire de lordinateur. 6. (Facultatif) Sur les cartes NI PCI Express de la srie M, comme les cartes NI PCIe-6251/6259, branchez le connecteur dalimentation du lecteur de disque du PC celui du lecteur de disque de la carte. Reportez-vous au document intitul M Series User Manual sur le mdia NI-DAQmx pour savoir quel moment utiliser le connecteur dalimentation du lecteur de disque. La connexion ou dconnexion du connecteur dalimentation de lecteur de disque peut affecter les performances analogiques de votre carte. En guise de compensation, NI vous recommande dauto-talonner le priphrique DAQ PCI Express dans MAX aprs avoir connect ou dconnect le connecteur dalimentation du lecteur de disque ; reportez-vous au guide Guide dinitiation DAQ disponible partir de DmarrerTous les programmesNational InstrumentsNI-DAQ Guide dinitiation DAQ. 7. Refermez le botier de lordinateur. 8. Branchez votre ordinateur et mettez-le sous tension.

Priphriques PXI et PXI Express

Effectuez les tapes suivantes pour installer une carte PCI et une carte PCI Express : 1. Mettez le chssis PXI/PXI Express hors tension et dbranchez-le. Reportez-vous au manuel qui accompagne le chssis pour installer ou configurer celui-ci.

Si vous utilisez un chssis PXI Express, vous pouvez installer les priphriques PXI dans les emplacements PXI. Si un priphrique PXI est compatible avec les emplacements hybrides, vous pouvez utiliser les emplacements PXI Express hybrides. Les priphriques PXI Express ne peuvent tre logs que dans les emplacements PXI Express et PXI Express hybrides. Reportez-vous la documentation du chssis pour plus de prcisions. Retirez le cache de protection dun emplacement PXI/PXI Express vide. Touchez une partie mtallique du chssis pour dcharger llectricit statique. Vrifiez que le dispositif dinsertion/jection du module PXI/PXI Express nest pas verrouill et noffre aucune rsistance lorsquil est actionn. Placez les bords du module PXI/PXI Express dans les guides de module en haut et en bas du chssis. Faites glisser le priphrique dans lemplacement PXI/PXI Express larrire du chssis. Ds que vous sentez une rsistance, relevez le dispositif dinsertion/jection pour verrouiller le priphrique. Fixez le panneau avant du priphrique au chssis laide des vis de montage du panneau avant. Branchez le chssis PXI/PXI Express et mettez-le sous tension.

Priphriques USB
Vous devez avoir des droits dadministrateur pour installer les logiciels et les priphriques NI sur votre ordinateur. Excutez ces tapes pour installer un priphrique NI de type USB : 1. Effectuez les connexions dalimentation. Si vous utilisez un pack batterie BP-1, installez-le suivant les instructions de votre guide dinstallation BP-1. Certains priphriques NI de type USB ncessitent une alimentation externe. Si votre priphrique utilise une alimentation externe, assurez-vous que la tension sur le bloc dalimentation externe, le cas chant, est compatible avec le courant secteur dans votre rgion (120 ou 230 Vca) et avec la tension exige par votre priphrique. 2. Connectez le bloc dalimentation ou le cordon dalimentation une prise lectrique et votre priphrique. 3. Connectez le cble branch dans le port USB de lordinateur ou tout autre hub un port USB disponible du priphrique. 4. Si votre priphrique USB est quip dun bouton dalimentation, mettez-le sous tension. Lordinateur devrait dtecter immdiatement votre priphrique. Lorsque lordinateur reconnat un priphrique USB, le tmoin LED du priphrique clignote ou sallume. Reportez-vous la documentation sur le priphrique pour obtenir une explication des tats de la LED.

Reconnaissance de priphrique sous Windows

Les versions de Windows antrieures Windows Vista reconnaissent les priphriques qui viennent dtre installs au dmarrage de lordinateur. Vista installe automatiquement les drivers de priphriques. Si lAssistant Nouveau matriel dtect souvre, Installez le logiciel automatiquement pour chaque priphrique, comme recommand.

Le Moniteur de priphriques NI vous demande de slectionner parmi les options suivantes. Ces options varient en fonction des priphriques et des logiciels qui sont installs sur votre systme. Installieren Sie Software vor dem Anschlieen neuer Gerte.

Installieren der Entwicklungsumgebung

Installieren Sie Ihre Entwicklungsumgebung von National Instruments, z. B. NI LabVIEW, oder eine andere Programmierumgebung (z. B. ANSI C oder Visual Basic .NET). Angaben zu untersttzten Programmen und Versionen finden Sie in der Readme zu NI-DAQ auf dem Datentrger. Legen Sie eine Sicherungskopie von Anwendungen an, bevor Sie ein Software-Upgrade durchfhren oder Anwendungen bearbeiten.

Installieren von NI-DAQmx

Installieren Sie den NI-DAQmx-Treiber vor dem Anschlieen neuer Gerte, da diese sonst nicht automatisch erkannt werden. 1. Legen Sie den Datentrger ein. Wenn der Installationsassistent nicht automatisch gestartet wird, whlen Sie StartAusfhren. Geben Sie x:\autorun.exe ein (x steht fr den Laufwerksbuchstaben). Folgen Sie den Anweisungen. 2. Registrieren Sie bei entsprechender Aufforderung Ihre NI-Hardware online unter ni.com/register. 3. Das letzte Dialogfeld wird mit den folgenden Optionen geffnet: Neustart spter sollte ausgewhlt werden, wenn Sie weitere Software von National Instruments installieren mchten. Wenn Ihr PC ber MXI-3 mit einem PXI-Chassis verbunden ist, verlassen Sie das Programm und installieren Sie die MXI-3-Software, die bei Bedarf von der Website ni.com/downloads heruntergeladen werden kann. Herunterfahren oder Neustart sollte ausgewhlt werden, wenn alles zum Anschlieen der Gerte bereit ist.

Neustart ist bei Systemen mit dem LabVIEW Real-Time Module auszuwhlen. bertragen Sie dann NI-DAQmx mithilfe des MAX auf das RT-System. Die Vorgehensweise dazu ist in der MAX-Hilfe zu Systemen im Netzwerk beschrieben, die im MAX ber Hilfe HilfethemenNetzwerkumgebung aufgerufen wird.

Auspacken und Installieren der Gerte, Zusatzbauteile und Kabel

Packen Sie das Gert aus und untersuchen Sie es. Sollte das Gert schadhaft erscheinen, setzen Sie sich bitte mit uns in Verbindung. Schlieen Sie auf keinen Fall ein defektes Gert an! Bauen Sie nun alle vorhandenen DAQ-Gerte wie hier beschrieben ein. SCXI-Module werden im Anschluss an die DAQ-Komponenten angeschlossen.
Vorsicht! Das Gert muss vor elektrostatischen Entladungen geschtzt werden. Erden Sie sich und die verwendeten Werkzeuge, bevor Sie das Gert berhren oder mit dem Gert arbeiten.

Sicherheitshinweise und Informationen zur Einhaltung von Sicherheitsstandards finden Sie in den Beschreibungen der einzelnen Gerte auf ni.com/manuals oder auf dem NI-DAQmx-Datentrger. Auf Ihrem Gert knnen folgende Symbole aufgedruckt sein: Mit diesem Symbol wird vor Datenverlust, Systemabsturz und Verletzungen gewarnt. Welche Vorsichtsmanahmen bei Produkten mit diesem Symbol zu treffen sind, wird im Faltblatt Read Me First: Safety and Electromagnetic Compatibility in der Packungsbeilage erlutert. Wenn ein Produkt mit diesem Symbol gekennzeichnet ist, besteht die Gefahr eines elektrischen Schlags. Bei Produkten mit diesem Symbol kann eines der Bauteile hei werden. Bei Berhrung besteht Verletzungsgefahr.

CompactDAQ
Gehen Sie zum Einstecken von Modulen der C-Serie wie folgt vor: 1. Schalten Sie das CompactDAQ-Chassis aus. 2. Wenn Sie kein Montagezubehr verwenden, befestigen Sie die Gummiisolierung an der Rckseite des CompactDAQ-Chassis. Bringen Sie an einem 1,6 mm dicken Draht einen Kabelschuh an. Schrauben Sie

den Kabelschuh mit der mitgelieferten Schraube am Masseanschluss an der Seite des Chassis fest. Verbinden Sie das andere Ende des Drahts mit Masse. Schlieen Sie auerdem mit Hilfe eines Kabelschuhs einen Draht an die Kabelabschirmungen der Module an. Dieser Draht muss mit der mitgelieferten Schraube ebenfalls am Masseanschluss des Chassis befestigt werden.
Vorsicht! Bei gefhrlichen Spannungen sind bestimmte Sicherheitsrichtlinien einzuhalten. Als gefhrlich gelten alle Gleichspannungen ber 42,4 Volt und alle Wechselspannungen ber 60 Volt. Lesen Sie dazu die Bedienungsanleitung des Gerts.

3. Drcken Sie beide Hebel des Moduls nach unten, schieben Sie es in einen leeren Steckplatz und drcken Sie, bis es einrastet. Weitere Informationen (z. B. ber die Modulkategorien, Signaleingnge und die geltenden Sicherheitsbestimmungen) finden Sie in der Bedienungsanleitung des Moduls.

4. Fhren Sie die Karte in den PCI- oder PCI-Express-Steckplatz ein und drcken Sie sie vollstndig hinein. Wenden Sie keine Gewalt an! Bei NI-PCI-Karten zur Datenerfassung werden die Daten ber PCI-Busse (z. B. PCI-X) bertragen. Beachten Sie, dass PCI-ExpressKarten nicht in PCI-Steckpltze passen und umgekehrt. PCI-ExpressKarten knnen allerdings in einem PCI-Express-Steckplatz mit hherer Bandbreite genutzt werden. Einen Leitfaden finden Sie auf der Website ni.com/pciexpress. 5. Schrauben Sie die Metallschiene der Karte an der Rckwand des Computers fest. 6. (Optional) NI-PCI-Express-Karten der M-Serie (z. B. NI PCIe-6251/ 6259) sind an den vierpoligen Stromversorgungsanschluss des Computers anzuschlieen. Weitere Informationen dazu finden Sie im M Series User Manual auf dem NI-DAQmx-Datentrger. Arbeiten Sie nach Mglichkeit mit einem anderen Stromversorgungsanschluss als dem der Festplatte.

Durch Anschlieen oder Herausziehen des Stromversorgungssteckers kann sich die Amplitude gemessener oder ausgegebener Analogsignale ndern. Daher wird empfohlen, nach jedem Einstecken oder Herausziehen des Steckers im MAX eine Selbstkalibrierung der Karte durchzufhren. PXI-Module knnen in PXI-Express-Chassis verwendet werden, da solche Chassis auch normale PXI-Steckpltze enthalten. Manche PXI-Module knnen in Hybrid-Steckpltzen betrieben werden. PXI-Express-Module knnen ausschlielich PXI-Express- und PXI-Express-Hybrid-Steckpltze belegen. Weitere Einzelheiten finden Sie in der Dokumentation. 3. Entfernen Sie die Blende eines freien PXI- bzw. PXI-ExpressSteckplatzes. 4. Berhren Sie zur elektrostatischen Entladung ein beliebiges Metallteil des Gehuses.

5. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass der Arretierhebel des Moduls nicht eingerastet ist. 6. Schieben Sie das Modul entlang der Fhrungsschienen in das Gehuse. 7. Drcken Sie das Modul so weit in das Gehuse, bis es die Steckerleiste berhrt. 8. Wenn Sie einen Widerstand fhlen, ziehen Sie den Arretierhebel nach oben und drcken Sie die Karte vollstndig in den Steckplatz. 9. Schrauben Sie die Frontplatte an der Montageschiene des Chassis fest. 10. Stecken Sie den Netzstecker ein und schalten Sie das Chassis ein.

USB-Gerte
Zur Installation von Software und Gerten von National Instruments bentigen Sie Administratorrechte. USB-Gerte von National Instruments werden wie folgt angeschlossen: 1. Befestigen Sie die Kabel fr die Stromversorgung. BP-1-Akkupacks sind der Beschreibung entsprechend anzuschlieen. Fr einige Gerte von National Instruments mit USB-Anschluss ist eine separate Spannungsversorgung erforderlich. berprfen Sie bei Gerten mit Netzteil, ob die aufgedruckten Angaben fr die Netzspannung (120 oder 230 V~) und die ausgegebene Spannung korrekt sind. 2. Schlieen Sie das Gert an die Stromversorgung oder eine Steckdose an. 3. Verbinden Sie das Gert mit dem USB-Anschluss des Computers oder einem USB-Hub. 4. Bettigen Sie den Netzschalter (sofern vorhanden). Das Gert sollte automatisch vom Computer erkannt werden. Bei Erkennung eines USB-Gerts leuchtet oder blinkt am Gert eine LED. Die durch die LED dargestellten Betriebszustnde sind in der Beschreibung zum Gert erklrt.

Erkennung von Gerten unter Windows

Bei Windows-Versionen vor Vista werden neu angeschlossene Gerte nach einem Neustart des Computers erkannt. Gertetreiber werden unter Vista automatisch installiert. Whlen Sie im Hardware-Assistenten die empfohlene Option Software automatisch installieren fr jedes Gert.

NI-Gertemonitor
Wenn ein NI-USB-Gert in Windows erkannt wird, startet automatisch der NI-Gertemonitor. Das links abgebildete Symbol des NI-Gertemonitors muss im Infobereich neben der Systemuhr angezeigt werden. Anderenfalls ffnet sich das Programm nicht. Zum Aufrufen des NI-Gertemonitors trennen Sie Ihr Gert vom Computer und starten Sie das Programm ber StartAlle ProgrammeNational InstrumentsNI-DAQNI-Gertemonitor. Je nach Gert und installierter Software werden folgende Optionen angezeigt: Eine Messung mit diesem Gert durchfhren NI LabVIEW SignalExpress ausfhrenStartet in LabVIEW SignalExpress einen NI-DAQmx-Schritt, der mit den Kanlen Ihres Gerts arbeitet. Eine Anwendung mit diesem Gert erstellenStartet LabVIEW. Whlen Sie diese Option, wenn das Gert bereits im MAX konfiguriert wurde. Testpanels startenStartet das MAX-Testpanel zu Ihrem Gert. Dieses Gert konfigurieren und testenStartet den MAX. Keine Aktion ausfhrenStartet kein Programm. Das Gert wird aber trotzdem erkannt. Wenn Sie das NI-Gertemonitor-Symbol mit der rechten Maustaste anklicken, werden folgende Optionen angezeigt: Beim Start ausfhrenDer NI-Gertemonitor wird nach dem Systemstart aufgerufen (Voreinstellung).
