H&RBlock(HRB)isapartnerwithvariousmilitarybranchesandoffersaFREEIncomeTaxCourse (ITC)forMilitarySpousesandWoundedWarriors.MilitaryspousesandWoundedWarriorsaregreat candidatesbecausetheytypicallyhaveagoodworkethicandhaveexperiencewithmilitarylife situations.Intheeventofapermanentchangeofstation(PCS),ourglobalpresenceprovidesmilitary spousesanopportunitytocontinueemploymentwithanotherHRBofficealmostanywhereanHRB officeislocated;whichisgreatfortheemployeeandH&RBlock.Whileemploymentisnotguaranteed, theIncomeTaxSchoolscholarshipisprovidedtoanyMilitarySpouseorWoundedWarriorfittingthe definedcriteriadescribedbelow.

WhoisEligibleforFREETaxTraining?
AnyI.D.holdingMilitarySpouseofanactive,retiredorreservemilitaryservicememberandWounded Warriors(asdefinedbytheDoD)iseligible.ActiveDutyservicemembersarenoteligibleforthis scholarship,butcanchoosetoattendclassesiftheywishtopaytherequiredtuition.Thereisa verificationprocessconductedthroughtheEmploymentReadinessProgramManagers(ERPM)or EmploymentReadinessSpecialists(ERS)andthisprocesswillconfirmpotentialstudentsmilitarystatus andalsoallowtheDoDtotrackandreportonhowmanycandidatestaketheIncomeTaxCourseand areultimatelyhired.
