Executive Summary Our Company REMMEDI Pvt. Ltd. will be in business of installing and maintaining a specially designed novel product named as TELEDOC(medicine kiosk), which will help government in achieving a goal of covering large number of rural people under primary health care. With growing population and increased focus on health care by government of India, future promises to be bright for the product. TELEDOC will help people in rural area to get quality health care at their place and consult about their health with doctors sitting at their clinic. Our Product:We will be installing our kiosks in villages where patients would come and provide details about their health viz. illness, symptoms, age, gender, no of days of illness through a touch screen GUI; our system will calculate the severity of the illness based on a predefined algorithm. If the level of severity is less and symptoms are of common illness our system will dispense the medicines, else it will connect to a remote doctor with the help of video conferencing. The doctor will examine the case with the help of details provided by our system and if necessary will take help inbuilt patient monitoring equipment attached with our system. The patient monitoring equipment will measure parameters like body temperature, heart beat and SPO2. Based on our data and his/her judgement the doctor will provide either a prescription or a recommend a specialist. We will maintain database of the patients which can be used by government agencies to monitor status of health of people living in the specific region, and facilitate them to come up with health care and epidemic control drives. Mission: Lending a helping hand in improving rural healthcare for years to come Execution Strategy:We will Market our product directly to the government agencies involved in National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) and collaborate with them to install the machines at remote places in India. In order to show the performance & benefits of our product to the government we will initially conduct a pilot run in one village. After successful pilot run we will install more kiosks in different villages. Doctors on video conference would be from government hospitals located in nearby towns. To facilitate patients in using our kiosk we will tie up with MNREGA and train individuals to operate it. To make people aware of our kiosks we will do below the line marketing in form of street plays, health care drives and door to door promotion.

Initially our revenue will be obtained by charging the government for installation of kiosk and also by annual maintenance contract which will include refilling of medicines and providing technical support. In the long term we will be able to leverage our geographical reach and can use this network to promote various brands in rural areas. Market Opportunity:National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) is extended till 2015 and government has decided to increase spending on primary health care*. Total spending on NRHM for year 2010-2011 by Government of India is Rs. 16,219 crore#. In coming years it is expected that spending on health programs is going to increase as currently, India spends 1.45 percentage of GDP in FY 2009-10 which is substantially lower than many other developing countries: Cuba spends 5.5 percent, Namibia 4.7 percent, and Sri Lanka 2.0 percent. There are no direct competitors to our product in Indian market and hence we have a advantage of being the first player in market. The only indirect competition to our product in Indian market is MeraDoctor, which is a nation-wide doctor helpline and medical discount network that helps families stay healthy, and save time and money. It gives medical counseling over telephone from 8 am to 10 pm, predominant presence in urban sector.
