ATTENTION ALL THE STUDENTS: I) B.TECH FIRST YEAR STUDENTS INTERESTED IN JOINING N.C.C The first year B. Tech students who are interested in joining NCC (including those who have not filled the option form) may report to NCC officer Capt (Dr.) M. Ravinder Reddy between 6th to 10th August 2012 during 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the office of School of Management. The Vacancies are limited and will be filled on first come first serve basis.

:: 2 :: II) SCHEDULE FOR NCC PARADES FOR SECOND YEAR CADETS All the NCC II year cadets are informed to follow the parade schedule and turn up in uniform near Administration Block (Main Building) during the below mentioned dates: 08-08-2012 (Wednesday) 5:30 PM to 6.30 PM 09-08-2012 (Thursday) -do10-08-2012 (Friday) -doThe II year NCC cadets who are not interested to continue in the NCC are requested to handover the kits immediately (on or before 10/08/2012) to the NCC Office, Naimnagar Hanamkonda and show the clearance certificate to the Institute NCC officer. The cadets who failed to return the kits have to pay a fine of Rs. 2000/-.

7. NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME (NSS), NITW: REQUEST FOR ADOPTION OF PLANTS BY ALL THE STUDENTS AND STAFF OF THE INSTITUTE FOR IMPROVING GREENERY IN THE CAMPUS: All the students, faculty and non-teaching staff of the institute are requested to participate in the plantation program scheduled on 12th August, 2012 at 10 am near Mega Hostel of the institute. Prof. T. Srinivasa Rao, Director will inaugurate the program. All the students, particularly B.Tech Ist year students are requested to adopt atleast one plant for its survival for the next two years. They will be given certificate if the plant survives after two years. All the faculty, non-teaching and other supporting staff of the institute are requested to plant at least one sapling in their residential premises. FULBRIGHT SPECIALIST PROGRAM: The United States-India Educational Foundation (USIEF), New Delhi invites applications from Indian institutions for hosting a U.S. Expert in 2013-14 for a short-duration of two to six weeks under the Fulbright Specialist Program. The Fulbright program pays for international travel and honorarium for the scholar and the host institution has to cover for his/her board and lodging, local transportation, and in-country travel if required as part of the program.
