Master of Science (M.Sc) - Second Rank to Karnatak University with Analytical Chemistry as subject of Specialization. Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Inorganic Chemistry from Karnatak University. Completed the research work in a record time of two years. Published 22 research papers in international journals. Presented papers at several international symposia. Obtained training in evaluation techniques from the National Council for Educational Research and Training. (N.C.E.R.T.). Undergone training in Educational Administration.

PROFESSIONAL CAREER:
Served as a Member of the Syndicate, Senate, Academic Council and College Development Council of the Bangalore University. Officiated as the Chairman, Board of Examiners in Chemistry, Bangalore University. Served as the Chairman, Local Inquiry Committee of the Bangalore University. Serving as the Life Fellow of the Electrochemical Society of India. Served as a Member of the Managing Committee of Vidya Vardhaka Sangha a premier Educational Institution in Bangalore. Serving as a Member of the Managing Committee of the Jana Seva Vidya Kendra, Channenahalli, Bangalore District, which runs a residential institution in the background of Indian Culture.

Serving as a Member of the Indian Red Cross Society. Officiated as the Chairman of the Bangalore University Cricket selection Committee for several years. Served as the Chairman of PACER FOUNDATION. PACER (Professionals Action Committee for Educational Reforms) is an apex body of academicians in Karnataka planning for excellence in education at all levels. Worked as the General Secretary of the Federation of the First Grade College Principals' Associations in the State of Karnataka. Nominated by the Government of Karnataka as a Member on the Committee to select College Lecturers for the award of Best Teacher" by the State. Nominated by the Government to be a Member of the Informal Group for consultation on important policies relating to Higher Education. Served as an Editor of PARIVARTHANE -a quarterly bulletin published by the Directorate of Collegiate Education, Government of Karnataka. Served as the Founder Principal & Academic Director of the Jain International Residential School, Kanakapura road, Bangalore. Serving as the member of the State Resource Group (SRG) for the implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) and NAAC accreditation,

Helped in promoting quality educational institutions in about thirty places in India and outside. Designed a complete curriculum on Creativity being administered for the One year Diploma programme in India and also a part of the Masters programme in the U.K. . Conducted more than 500 training programmes in Creativity, Communication & presentation skills and Human Values. Conducted several HRD training programmes to many Multi National Companies such as Mind Tree Consulting, Ernst and Young, Infosys, Yahoo, Phillips, Net App, Honeywell, T.V.S. Motors and also to the officials of many Public companies such as Bharat Electronics Limited, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Indian Telephone Industries, B.W.S.S.B. etc in various customised areas. Travelled and lectured widely in many countries both in the East and the West.

PUBLICATIONS:
Published more than 75 stories and articles in English and Kannada Journals. Authored Text Books of Chemistry, published by M/s S.Chand & Co, New Delhi. Written & presented more than 75 articles on education at many State, National and International periodicals and conferences. Published 3 books in Kannada Karunaalu Baa Belake a collection of 100 motivational stories in each. They were published in my daily column with the same name in the popular Kannada daily, Prajavani. The daily column

still continues even after 500 episodes. Contributing three articles in every issue of Vivek Sampada a quarterly spiritual magazine, for the past five years. Offering philosophical discourses to the poems in Haridas Sahitya in a daily popular programme aired by the Sri Shankara Channel. Over hundred episodes have already been covered. Various Lectures delivered in the United States are brought out in the form of DVDs. Gokhale Institute of Public Affairs has brought over a dozen audio CDs of the discourses delivered there on the Bhagavadgita and other topics.
