UNIT # #8 : I sometimes watch TV UNIT AIMS: To communicate the amount of times one does an action and at a specific hour NUMBER OF LESSONS IN THIS UNIT: 20 NUMBER OF WEEKLY LESSONS: 5 LESSON # #1: Reading and listening comprehension #2: Tell onesschedule #3: Days of the week #4: Activities done on the weekend #5: Adverbs of Frequency #6: Project #1: Cantua #7: Another way to add subtotales Excel DATE: May 7th, 2012 LESSON AIMS: #1: to practice listening and reading skills #2: to reinforce speaking skills #3: to practice days of the week, spelling #4: to reinforce writing and speaking about ones daily routines #5: to use adverbs of frequency to describe actions #6: to greate a scene of Cantua #7: to use other form of adding subtotals ACTIVITIES: RESOURCES: #1: Ask students randomly a typical day in -clock their house referring to the activities done. -shoe box Then Read out loud the reading on pg 56 about - cardboard paper, dolls and the activities done by the two boys. Ask markers opinions about these two stories and then -notebook answer the questions on page 56 about the -computer reading. -student book #2: Have students explain what they do on a -computer CD daily basis and give students vocabulary about -legends of Ecuador book the actions that are regularly done and present in front of the class. #3: Ask students about the days of the week, referring to yesterday, today, tomorrow, the day after tomorrow the day before yesterday. Then reinforce spelling by dictating the days #4: Write specific times on the board and have students write an activity that they do at that time. Then ask students questions about if they all do the activity written at the time. Do pg 114 ex 1&2 #5: Ask the students how many times they take a bath or any other activity and then expalin to the students the adverbs of frequency to expalin generally the amount of

time one does an action. Then practice with other activities asked to the students. #6: From the book , have students in miniature create a scene from Catnua and explain the scene that is illustrated in the box. #7: From the downloaded file SUBTOTALS, have the students find other ways for totaling the aounts given using the formula tool bar
